一、教学内容:Unit 4 When is Easter? Story time

二、教学目标:

1、学生能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解故事内容,复习和巩固句型The singing test will be on May 4th . I can’t...I want to ... 等。

2、扩展学习句型Practice makes perfect. Will you come to the party/play football with me after lunch? I want to practise my song. I need more practice. I’ll go swimming tonight,增加学生语言输入。

3、能够理解故事内容、朗读故事、表演故事,并能在语境中恰当运用故事中的语言。

4. 在故事语境中,通过Zoom 专心刻苦练习并最终在不擅长的唱歌考试中得到音乐老师称赞的经历,让学生了解英语谚语“Practice makes perfect.”的深刻含义。

四、教学重难点:

1、教学重点: Practice makes perfect. Will you come to the party/play football with me after lunch? I want to practise my song. I need more practice. I’ll go swimming tonight.

2、教学难点:能够在语境中理解新词practise与practice的区别;在语境中理解Practice makes perfect. 的含义。

五、教学步骤:

Step1: Warm-up

1.Enjoy a song.

2.交代任务:

T: In this class, we’re going to have a story-telling test. 3.评价机制:

Perfect card :If you do perfect, you can get a perfect card. But you should say “perfect”, you can sit down.

Step2:Present the story.

1.Lead-in

Look at the picture, what animals do you see?

The bird, Zoom, Zip, the Rabbit and the Cat.

2.Watch and choose:

一、以旧引新,巩固旧知。

复习本单元的月份日期,May 1st May 2nd 等是复习这一单元中学过的旧知,不仅可以作为热身,还起到了很好的复习铺作用,接着从最后一个回答中,引入今天将要去学习的主情景:The singing test will be on May 4th.引出了新知识。层层递进,渐渐地将学生引入学习环节。二、贴近实际,回归生活。

因为这学期进行到一半,临近期中考试。故事中的主情景正是Zoom为音乐考试做准备,这样的活动设计不仅跟故事背景相同,而且也是和学生的生活实际息息相关的,因为不会让学生感觉到陌生和困难。

三、价值引导,教育情感

整个故事情景,不仅培养了学生积极思考的能力以外,还教育了学生要熟能生巧的情感。让学生从小做起,延伸到自己的生活实际,不管是做什么事情,都要多多联系,认真对待,最后都可以取得好的成绩。对学生以后的学习和生活都能起到一个教育警醒的作用。
