What Is This?
Step 2 Presentation, drills and practice 1)
Teach Is this your coat? After singing the song of What Is This, the teacher show the students a box something in it and ask What’s this in it?
2) Teach new words: coat,
dress, shirt, T-shirt
Put a dress into a box. Let the students guess. Teach them to read it. Then ask them to read it in pairs. Show them two dresses, count together and teach What are they?

Use the same way to teach the words coat, shirt and T-shirt. 2) Sing a song: What Are They? 3) Look at page 39 and practise the dialogue in pairs. Ask some pairs to the front and have a dialogue. Step 3 Consolidation 1)

Stick the picture to the word on page 39. b.
Answer the question what are they? as quickly as he/she can. c.
Guess the pictures what they are. d.
Listen to the teacher and hit the picture on the wall. 2) Sing a song Our Clothes 3) Read the words and the sentence patterns after the teacher together. Step 4 Homework Copy eight times for each new word and repeat them after the tape.
