This is the fourth period of Unit 8 A trip to Hong Kong. In this unit, the children mainly learn to talk about their past experiences by using past tense verbs. In the past periods, the children had mastered the key words, some past tense verbs and the diary about Jiamin’s trip. In this period, the children will learn to use mind map to understand the passage and use past tense verbs to express their past trip experiences correctly.

1. The children are in the first term of Grade 6. 2. The children have already mastered some past tense verbs. They can use simple sentences to talk about their past experiences. 1. Language knowledge知识目标:

The children can consolidate the past tense verbs: go-went, have-had, say-said, eat- ate…
