Teaching methods: Task-based language teaching and learning; Group work Pair work Pre-task: 1. Read all the new words after the tape for three times. 2. Listen to the song. 3. Make your own food cards. Teaching Procedure: Step 1: Warm-up 1. Greetings

T: Let's begin our class. Stand up.

T: Sit down, please.

2. Let’s look at the chant we learned in grade two (T play the PPT).

Do you like noodles, noodles, noodles?

Yes, yes, I do.

Step 2: Presentation and Practice 1. Listen to the new chant for two times.

The first time: Listen

The second time: Listen and point

The third time: Listen and repeat. 2. Group work

Teacher teaches the new words first pronunciation, then written form, put the words cards on the blackboard one by one. Four students together to learn the new words in their groups.

T: Please learn the new words in your group. (小组合作学习新单词) 3. Watch and guess T: Wow！You're so good! But can you do this? Let's watch and guess.

Write them in right form by first playing a video of writing orders for each word. Students first watch follow the video while writing with their fingers in the air, then write on the books with pencils

Students feel happy to learn this unit words because they like food. Seven new words are easily said but not easy to write correctly in their exercise book. ‘f’, ‘p’

writing forms have been correctly several times. Ask students to copy these words not only on their books but also do as homework on their exercise books.
