And the sentence patterns: What do you usually do on the weekend? The analysis of students: Our students are in grad 5，

they are very active and curious. After learning English for 2 and a half years，they have some basic English background knowledge. But they still have some difficulties in using English to communicate with others or write something. Teaching objectives: Knowledge objective: Students will able to use the key words and the sentence patterns to talk about the main topic. Students can understand the meaning of the key words.

Ability objective: Students will able to use the key sentences in real situation correctly.

Students’ ability of listening and speaking will be improved.

Emotional objectives: Students’ interests in learning English will be cultivated. And set up students’ self-confidence in learning English at the same time. Teaching importance and difficulty: Understand the meaning of the this story is very important, and it’s very difficult for my student to retell the story. Teaching aids: PPT and word cards.
