How do you come to school? （Story time）

一、教学目标：

1、能听懂、会说、会读bike，bus, plane, ship, taxi，train，metro等交通工具类单词和一些虚拟地名及街道名称。

2、能初步运用句型Where do /does …live？及其回答…live/lives on/in…和How do/ does …come to school? 及回答I… by/ on foot.

3、能正确、流利地朗读并理解故事。

4、学生能在理解的基础上合作表演故事。

四、单元设计意图：

本单元话题是谈论家庭地址和上学所用的交通方式，呈现本单元重点Where do /does …live？及其回答…live/

lives on/in…和How do/ does …?的询问及…by/ on …的回答。在充分利用书本材料进行教学与操练的基础上，学生们自然交流，培养学生快速捕捉和获取文章大意的能力。培养学生对语法及句型的掌控能力，善于表达的良好习惯。

五、教学过程：

1. 保持了单元话题的连贯性。在文本中寻找内在联系，通过补充必要的情景串联，使主线清晰，过渡巧妙。

2. 以活动为平台，发展学生的思维能力。设置多个开放性活动，如：创编新歌曲、利用单词造句和给故事续编结尾。

3. 以学生为主体，培养自主与合作的能力。本课多个环节由学生小组合作完成，生能通过合作，互帮互助，获取知识。

4. 细节处理形象、到位。在一些单词、句子的处理上利用动作、举例等方法让学生更容易接受知识。

值得反思的地方：如何降低开放性活动的难度？可以在造句这个环节让学生小组讨论，增加参与面。故事的续编没能充分激发表达的欲望，可以让学生课后思考，在下一节课开始进行表演。
