Unit 6

At a farm

设计意图:本节课选自人教版(2001)小学英语四年级下册第六单元part A Let’s learn 部分,授课对象为四年二班全体学生。本课在设计上采用交际教学法以及问答法为主要教学方法,在过程上主要分为三大部分,上课之前的导入,新课呈现,以及巩固练习。课前主要以“guessing riddles”为主要引入,带领学生进入学习新课的氛围。并在新课中详细讲述cows、horses、hens、sheep等所表示的复数含义以及正确的读法,特别sheep单复数同型是重点。在巩固练习阶段主要设计了“看图片抢答”、“幸运大抽奖”、“根据提示猜动物”、“看课件说单词”以及“用所给的句型编对话”等题型全方位巩固渗透,使学生在玩中将单词记准记牢,减轻学生学习英语的压力,增强学生英语学习的兴趣。

教学过程:

Step1:Greeting(问候)

T:Good morning,everyone!

Ss: Good morning, Miss Gong! Step 2: warning up(热身)

T;First, Let’s do morning exercises together. Please do like this. Stretch your arms, shake your hands, close your eyes, shake your hands. Good! Sit down, please! Are you ready for class? Ss: Yes! Step 3: Lead-in(导入) (教师让学生一起猜小动物,引入新课)

Before our lesson, I want to play a game with you . “Guessing Riddles ”

Let’s look at the screen. (老师读英语,并适当用汉语翻译)

The first one“They are yellow.

They are cute.

They like fish.

What are they?”

You please! S: cats. Yes, sit down!

The second one“They are pink. They are big and fat. They have small eyes and a short tail. What are they?

This girl, please! S: pigs Good! Sit down,please!

The third one“They are black and white. They are big. They can make milk.

What are they?”

You can say in Chinese. That boy, please! S: 奶牛

T : correct. Step4: New Lesson(新内容) (1)T:

Now, I want to ask you a question, do you like animals? Ss: Yes.(预设)

T: Very good. Today is

Kitty’s birthday. Kitty invited many friends. Let’ s have a look, who come to kitty’s birthday party? (教师演示课件,出现不同的小动物) What is it ? Ss: horse.(学生根据所见回答) Yes, it’s a horse. It takes a cake as a gift. I think the cake is very nice. Ok, look! Who is coming? Ss: sheep. Yes,it’s a sheep. It takes a flower as a gift.

A beautiful flower. I think kitty must like it. Listen! Who comes? (根据动物的声音,学生回答) S: cow T: yes, cow.(教师操作课件,出现奶牛)

The cow takes a box of milk as a gift. Very nice. Look, who else? The hen comes with her children. They are so happy. Now let’s sing a birthday song for Kitty. (教师放背景音乐,学生一起唱“happy birthday to you!”) Kitty feel very happy. Because so many friends come to her birthday party. Now let me introduce kitty’s friends one by one.

(2)Look at this picture, what is it? It’s a …hen(师生一起). Ok. What are these? They are hen or hens? Which is right?

(预设)Ss;hens T: Yes, hens. They are hens. Pay attention to my mouth, “hens”(师示范,生观察)

Read after me. “hens”(三遍)

“They are hens.”(一遍)

Read one by one. (开小火车读) This girl , please.

(叫一名同学回答) S:奶牛

Look at next picture, what are these? Ss: 羊。

T:yes, in English, sheep, they are sheep.(单复数同型)

You have done a good job. Let’s look at this picture, this is a very famous painting, painted by Xu Beihong. The name is “Ba Jun Tu”. So how many horses are there in this picture? (让学生数一数) Ss: Eight. T: yes, eight horses. Pay attention to my mouth, “horses”(师示范,生观察) Read after me. “horses”(三遍)

Step5: Exercise and Consolidation(练习与巩固)

(1)

教师给学生一人分发一张图片(关于已学四个单词的图片),当老师说出一个单词时学生将相应的图片举起来,谁错了就会

接受惩罚。(听的练习) Here there are some pictures. I will give each student one picture. When I say out one word, you should put up the correct picture. For example, I say “hens”, you should put up the picture of “hens”(教师演示)。

Ok,clear? Good! Let’s start. (教师分发图片) Whether everybody has a picture? Put up your pictures. Ok! Hands down!(教师让学生把卡片举起,看是否每个人都有)

All right! Listen to me carefully. “hens”.

Good! All is correct. Next one, “cows”

Someone wrong.

Ok , Listen, next. “horses”

I see several students wrong. Fighting! The last one “sheep”

Ok , correct!

(2)(说的练习)

According to the clues, guess the animals. T: now, let’s look at the screen together. let’s play a game. Look at these pictures, and guess what it is. I divide you into three groups, and then you discuss , at last, one student each group tells me the answer. Ok. Have you got it?

Good, go ahead. Time is up. The first one, the first group, who can tell me what are they? Ok , you please. S: hens. T: good job. Sit down. Let’ s have a look. Yes, hens.

Next one. The second group. Ok , you please. S: cows.

T: ok ,sit down, please. let’s have a look. Yes, correct. Cows.

The last one, the third group. This boy, please. S: horses. T: Is he right?have a look. Yes, horses.

Very good. I’m so happy you have got it.

(3)(读的练习)

look at this box, in this box, there are some cards, I will ask you to choose these cards, one student chooses one card, five students as one group, and come to the front read the word on the card. The others are judgment, let’s look at who pronounce correctly. (教师让五个学生抽取)

(4)(综合运用)

Now let’s make a dialogue. You can say like this: one student say “what are these?” the other say “they are hens”

(教师详解课件中对话的模板,便于学生编对话以提高其口语表达能力). You have got it, I give you 3 minutes to prepare, and then I will ask 2 groups to come to front and show your short dialogue. now go ahead! (给学生三分钟时间准备,然后叫几对到前面表演) Time is up. Who want to show your dialogue? You two come to front, ok ! Start! (学生展示)

(5)情感态度升华

Look at the screen, so many eggs, hens can produce eggs. We could

eat eggs. Cows can produce milk. We can drink milk. And look at this

picture, the sweater is so warm. Sheep can produce wool to make sweaters. So many good things we can get from animals, so do you like animals?

Ss: yes So we should protect animals, because the animals are our friends. Yes? Step6: Conclusion and Homework(总结及作业) In this class we have learn the words “cows、horses、hens、sheep”, and the sentences“What are these/those?”“They are …”
