Warming up and revision 1. Greet to the students and sing”Happy Birthday”song together It can make the students get into the new lesson quickly.

2 Make an invitation card.

Ss draw and write the card Teacher show the sentence “Would you like to come to my birthday party? Sure .I’d love to.”

The students ask and answer in pairs.Show their invitation cards. 3.Talk about the birthday cake. Show out some pictures about cakes, ask them to say it together.Teacher show some sentences”What kind of cake would you like? I’d like …cake .Can I have some …? Sure.”

Ss ask and answer in pairs. Review some old words can make the Ss get a good basic. Step 2：Presentation: Today is Lisa’s birthday. T asks: Lisa’s friends come to her home to celebrate her birthday What presents does Lisa get? Ss watch the video and answer the question. Qs: Kate: Here’s a _________ for you.
