高三虚拟语气复习教案

The Subjunctive Mood: used in the IF clauses & should +do

I. Teaching aims: 1. Aim to review what the subjunctive mood is; 2. Aim to review the structure of subjunctive mood when used in IF clauses; 3. Aim to review the structure of subjunctive mood when used in Should +do; 4. Aim to finish the exercises correctly after leaning it.

I). If型非真实条件句 (时态退后型)

：

1．倒装句。（口诀：一马当先，还

I had time, I would have run round that lake again.. 2．错综条件句。若条件句和主句动作不存在同一个时间，则谓语形式应根据具体情况而定。

If you had worked harder at school, you would be a college student now.

3．If there weren't/had not been +…= If it were not for…/ If it hadn't been for…=what if…= but for…= without …

上述句式在一定条件下可以互相转换。

If it weren’t for water, no plant could grow. =If there were no water, no plant could grow. =But for water, no plant could grow. =Without water, no plant could grow.

4．含蓄条件句的otherwise+虚拟语气的句子，but+ 陈述事实的句子

I’m really, otherwise (=If I was not busy now,) I would certainly go with you. But that I saw it(=If I hadn’t seen it), I couldn’t have believed it. 若非亲眼所见，我绝不会相信。

If only sb./sth. +时态后退型的谓语, 若是...那该多好啊; 真希望...; 只要, 只要...就好

eg. If only she didn’t drive so fast. If only I hadn’t missed

the train! 6. even if/ even though/as if/as though+ clause…

II) SHOULD TYPE: 1.表示愿望、建议、请求等主观意向的动词、--ed分词、名词之后的从句，谓语动词用should ＋do，should常常省略。

这类动词有：decide，demand，desire，insist，order，propose，suggest，recommend，requested，

require等。

I suggest you (should) have enough sleep.

I recommend that everyone (should) attend the party.

注意：

1. suggest 当“建议”讲时，其宾语从句用虚拟语气；当“暗示、表明”时，用陈述语气

2. insist 当坚持“看法或建议”时，宾语从句用虚拟语气；当坚持“某个事实”时，用陈述语气。

判断改错：（错）

Your pale face suggests that you（should）be ill. （对）

Your pale face suggests that you are ill.

（错）

I insisted that you（should）be wrong.

（对）

I insisted that you were wrong. ②

--ed 分词/ adj.

可用的词有三类

suggested, ordered, required, proposed, demanded, that （should）do It is requested, insisted等

important, necessary, natural, imperative, strange等

a pity, a shame, no wonder等

It is suggested that parents (should) spend more time with their children. It is important that one (should) master the skills of computer. It is a pity that you (should) miss a golden chance.真遗憾，你失去了这么好的机会。

这类名词常见的有：advice，suggestion，proposal（提议），order，

demand，desire，request，requirement，recommendation（推荐），plan，resolution（决议），

idea等。

eg. We are all for your proposal that the discussion ( should )be put off．

My suggestion is that the mayor (should)present the prizes.

2．

lest（唯恐、免得），for fear that, in case that…sb. (should) do

eg. He was punished lest he should make the same mistake again．

3．In

order that, so that或that…+ sb.

may / might / could+do

In order that everybody

may understand it, write it in simple language.

4、表示客气、遗憾以及祝愿等场合中，使用虚拟语气。
