Presentation

Ask the students: What was the date yesterday? Help them to answer It was May 30th. And then, tell them it was my birthday yesterday. My wife bought a cake for me and it was delicious. Write: was\ bought on the blackboard. After that, ask students some questions and help them to answer:

--Were you busy yesterday evening?

--Yes, I was. I was really busy.

--What did you do yesterday evening?

--I did my homework.

--Did you use your computer?

--Yes, I did. /No, I didn’t. But I watched TV. Practice the conversation. Ask some pairs to act it out. Then write on the blackboard:

Pattern drill Say: Did you have a school trip last year? How was your school trip? Where did you go? Try to elicit going to a farm by some pictures. And teach them the following conversation:

--Did you have a school trip last year?

--Yes, I did.

--How was your school trip？

--It was great. We had so much fun.

--Where did you go? Did you go to a zoo?

--No, we didn’t. We went to a farm.

--Did you see any cows on the farm?

--Yes, I did. I saw quite a lot.And we milked a cow, too.

--What else did you do?

--I rode a horse. But I didn’t feed any chickens. In the end, we went for a walk around the farm and took quite a lot of photos.
