教材分析:本单元学习六种颜色单词,学唱英语歌曲The Rainbow。让学生感受本单元的话题,学习句型What colour is…? It’s…让学生做调色实验的对话巩固句型。用字母游戏复习26个字母。
教学目标:
Ⅰ. Basic aims : 1.Master the key words: black, blue, green, red, white, yellow; 2. Using adjectives to describe the colours; 3. Using Wh-questions to find out about the colour of a certain thing
Ⅱ. Developing aims: Help students use these words and sentences to talk about colours with others. Ⅲ. Education aims:
Observe the things around us carefully every day.

1.Learn the key sentence pattern: What colour is it?
2.How to ask about the colours of objects around us.

Ⅰ.Pre-task preparation 1. Greet with the whole class. T: Hello, How are you today? S1: I’m fine. Thank you. How are you today, Miss …?
T: I’m great, thank you.
2. Review the letters: Sing the ABC song. 3. Show a picture of Sing a song. Learn the words: orange, purple and brown.
T: (point to the orange colour of the rainbow)
What colour is it?
S1: It’s orange.
T: (point to the purple colour of the rainbow)
What colour is it?
S2: It’s purple.
Ⅱ.While-task procedure

Listen and follow. Play the video for Say and act. The students
listen and repeat. 2.
Play the recording for Say and act. Students listen and follow. T: (Show the yellow pen) What color is it? S1: It’s yellow.
T: (Show the blue pen) What color is it?
S2: It’s blue.
3.
Role-play the dialogue. Invite several groups to act out the dialogue before the class. 4.
Do an experiment. Let the students take out their watercolor pens. Divide the students into groups of four. T: Let’s mix red and yellow. It’s orange.
Let’s mix yellow and blue. What colour is it? Ss: Green. …
Ⅲ. Post-task activities Colour and write. Ask students to fill in the blanks in Colour and write on their own.

white + black = grey
white + red = pink
