Unit 4 What Can You Do? Part A Let's Learn教学设计

一、教学内容：

1、词汇关：四会词组“sweep the floor,cook the meals,clean the bedroom,water the flowers”；三会词组“empty the trash”。

2、句型关：四会句型“What can you do? I can......”。

3、听力关：完成Let's try 部分的听力练习。

4、小组合作关：互相问答并讨论各自会做的家务。

二、教学目标及要求：

1.能力目标：能简单介绍自己并询问别人会做什么家务，如：“What can you do? I can......”

2.知识目标：掌握A Let's Learn中的四会单词和句子。

3.情感、策略目标：

（1）情感态度：养成讲究卫生，热爱劳动的好习惯，培养乐于助人的优秀品质。

（2）学习策略：注重小组合作学习，培养相互沟通和交流的能力。

三、学情分析：

“实现整体设计”是PEP英语教材的主要特点之一，教学新知前，学生已知了一些家中场所名称的词汇，如：“kitchen,bedroom,study,garden”等，授课时，可有效利用这样词汇，带动学生的认知及理解，并在已知“sweep the floor,water the flowers”的基础上，引出其他的新知，让学生在感受成功的同时，努力提高。

四、教学方法设计：

（一）词汇教学

1.巧用实物及卡片：用形象的实物加速及深化学生对新词的理解与运用，另外，在教学词卡的设计上要注重体现词汇发音技巧，可适当地引用旧知呈现新知。

2.融词汇于会话教学中：力求做到在旧语言中学生词，用旧词练习新语言。

3.注意示范教学单词的发音：发音较难或易发错的单词，适当地对比讲解，耐心纠正。

4.指导规范书写：弄清课时中学生需掌握的四会词汇，授课中引导规范书写及巧妙记忆。

（二）会话教学

1.融会话教学于情景表演之中：师生一起再表演中教，在表演中练，在交际活动中用。

2.新知的教学过程中，可有效拓展，让知识为我们的生活交际而服务，不拘泥于课本。

五、教学重难点分析：

1.教学重点：（1）A Let's Learn中有关家务劳动的四个四会及一个三会词组；

（2）句型表达：“What can you do? I can......”

2.教学难点：（1）Are you helpful at home?的正确理解与运用；

（2）四会词组的准确识辨、理解、书写及运用。

六、教具，学具及电教手段的课前准备：

多媒体教学课件，点读机，词汇卡，小组合作表格，教学实物等。

七、教学过程：

1.热身（Warm-up）： （T:teacher） (S:student)

(1)Who is your favourite teacher? What ' s your favourite food?

(2)Let's chant and do.

2.预习(Preview)：

（1）T:We can watch TV in the living room,but what can we do in the study?

Ss:（引导）Read a book.

T:What can we do in the garden?

Ss:（引导）Water the flowers.（指导词汇的发音及书写）

（2）T:What can we do in the classroom?

Ss:（引导）Sweep the floor.（指导词汇的发音及书写）

3.新课呈现（Presentation）：

A Let's Learn 部分教学

（1）教学词组“empty the trash”

Lead in: T:Boys and girls,What else can we do in the classroom?

Ss:Clean the desks and chairs,clean the board......

T:Yes,and?（呈现扫地图片）

（指导词汇的发音及书写）

（2）教学词组“clean the bedroom”

（设疑导入，呈现图片）T:Is this the classroom?

Ss:No!

T:Where is it?

Ss:It's the bedroom.

T:What can we do in the bedroom?

Ss:Sweep the foor,read a book......

（引导）Ss:Clean the bedroom.（指导发音并书写）

（3）教学词组“cook the meals”

（呈现图片）T:Is this the bedroom/living room......?

Ss:No!It ' s the kitchen.

T:What can you do in the kitchen?

Ss:I can sweep the floor,......

（出示图片并引导教学）Ss：Cook the meals.（指导发音及书写）

（4）Read all of the words together.（总结归纳出概念“housework”）

（5）Free talk:

T:Who did the most housework in your family?

Ss:My mother/father,......

T:Ok!Boys and girls,you're big boy or girl now,you should help them to do some housework.（引出词汇“help”，指导该词汇的含义）

T：If you can do a lot,you're helpful!

（6）Ask and answer:Are you helpful at home?What can you do ?

（注意引出句型“Great!You're helpful!”）

（7）Let's try:

①Lead in :

T:Great!You're helpful! You can do a lot. But what can Mike do at home ?

（呈现五幅图片，学生看图说句子）

Ss:I think Mike can ......

②Listen and tick.

③Check the answers together.

（8）Group work:Ask and answer in groups.

B:I can......（演动作，其余学生说词组）

A:Great!You're helpful!

4.巩固及延伸（consolidation）：

八、家庭作业（Homework）：

1.抄写A

Let's Learn 中的词汇，每个词组三遍；

2.预习（p48）read and write 部分并完成相关的练习；

3.动动手，尝试帮助长辈做一两件力所能及的家务活动。
