3.Emotion goal Cultivate students’ intercultural awareness by learning different festivals, and arouse their interest in Chinese and Western customs. This is a speaking class. Students have a lot of chances to express their ideas about festivals. Group work and pair work are included. Before the class，the students are divided into 4 groups. They have tasks before class. They are required to Teaching methods

combine what they have learnt in the reading class and what they find on the net to make a conclusion of kinds of festivals. They cooperate with each other, so that every student has something to talk about.
