学情分析:
五年级的学生已经积累了一定的词汇和句型,学习积极性比较高。此时应保证充
足的机会,鼓励大胆交流,以养成自信、合作的学习习惯。
教学目标:
1. 增强学生对第二单元的四会单词、短语、句型的记忆。 2. 提高学生运用第二单元重点词汇、短语、句型的应用能力。
3. 带领学生对本单元有关国家的内容进行系统的梳理和总结。 教学重难点:
1.教学重点:学生能够掌握并灵活运用第二单元的四会单词、短语及句型。
2.教学难点:学生能够对本单元有关国家的内容进行系统的梳理和总结。 教具准备:多媒体课件、自制“小猫钓鱼”评比栏
教学过程:
一、Class Opening and Greeting. T: Hello, boys and girls. Ss: Hello, Miss Dong. T: How are you today? Ss: I’m fine, thanks. And you? T: I’m fine,too. Thank you. 二、Revision. T: Are you ready for the class? Ss: Yes. (设计意图: 营造活跃轻松的课前气氛,使学生带着积极的心态投入到学习中去。) T: OK. Let’s begin. Today let’s review the countries. Which countries have we learnt?(出示5个国家的单词卡片)What countries are they? Ss: China, the U.S., the U.K., Canada, Australia.

T: Good! First let's chant and do the actions together. (设计意图:Chant可以让学生复习第9课学过的方位名词“north, south, west, east”,琅琅上口,容易记忆) T: Very good. You did a good job. Look! There are two cats on the blackboard. These groups, you are Team One,the yellow cat. Those groups, you are Team Two, the orange cat. Do you like to go fishing. Ss: Yes. T: OK. Let’s go fishing.(设计意图:利用“小猫钓鱼”的比赛情境,可以
充分激发学生们学习英语的积极性和小组活动的参与性。)
T: Now let’s have a match. I have some maps for you. If you find the country, please stand up to read it quickly and loudly. Are you ready? Ss: Yes. T: (Show the maps of the five countries) Now I will ask some questions for you, if you know what country it is, please stand up to show the country and read it quickly and loudly. (Questions: 1. What country is purple? 2. What country is blue? 3. What country is red? 4. What country is yellow? 5. What country is green?)

T: Clever. Now look here. (Show a map of the world.) What’s this? Ss: It’s a map of the world. T: You’re right. We can see many countries on the map.(Point to China) What country is this? Ss: China. T: Yes. China is our country. Can you tell me what country is east of China?
