【教学目标】

1、语言知识目标：能听懂会说：map, country, China, Australia, Canada, U.S. (the United States), U.K.(the United Kingdom), north, south, west, east 11个单词。

2、语言技能目标：能用句型This is north. North points up on a map.在地图上用四个方位词表达方向。

3、情感目标：使学生体验学习，参与，合作，竞争的乐趣。

4、教学策略、方法：《新课标》倡导任务型教学模式，即让学生在教学活动中参与和完成真实的教学任务，从中体验学习的快乐。因此我采用“任务——探究——创造”型教学方法，让学生在有趣，开放式的语言环境中，学会观察，思考，讨论和总结，把学生培养成为思想健康积极，有创造性的人材。

文化意识：在教学地图的对话时，让学生理解有关地理方面的知识，能根据地图形状判断出是哪一个国家。

【教材分析】

本课是冀教版小学英语第五册第九课。本课将学习五个国家的英语表达法：China, Australia, Canada, U.S. (the United States),

U.K.(the United Kingdom),能根据地图上指出国家，能用句型This is north. North points up on a map.在地图上用四个方位词表达方向。这个结构难度不大，但由于学生初次接受这方面的知识，因此，在学习时可能出现表达困难。

【重、难点分析】

本课重点：1、学习五个国家的名称并指明位置，说出在地图上的颜色。

2、能够听、说、读、写四会单词：map, country, north, south, west, east. 本课难点：1地图上东西南北的表达。

【学习对象、学情分析】

学习对象：小学五年级已通过两个学年的英语学习的学生。

学情分析：

通过两个学年的学习，学生已经初步具备了一定的语言基础，语音语调方面有了进步，但语言理解表达能力仍需强。

【接受能力】

学生已经学过了一些基本用语，如

学生已经掌握了一些基本的学习方法，能听懂一些课堂指令，能就一些简单的问题进行口语问答。

利用一组有相同发音规律的单词引出新授部分，让学生自己找规律，自己读出发音，体现了学习的自主性。

在介绍各个国家时，先出示各个国家的名胜及各具特色的文化背景所组成的

小短剧。让学生去猜出国家的名字，从而引出它的英语名字。在小短剧的设计上，极具特色的画面以及哈里波特所具有的影响力带动了孩子们的情绪，使教学活动和整个课堂更加活跃。

利用学生熟知的color point的游戏，稍作改动加以创新，用以巩固练习新授部分的国家。

用游戏来复习表示方位的up, down, left和right，辅以动作既活跃了气氛，又调动了学生的积极性。为下一步教学打下了基础。

Chant的设计琅琅上口，辅以学生手势，既加深了印象，又把课文的内容重点加以加工，使课文一下子变简单了。

本活动的设计把教学活动推向了又一个高潮。自愿者到前面蒙上眼睛，全班同学给出指示，north，south，west或east来引导他把手中的小地图贴到正确的位置。

课后反思

本课主要是对the U.S., the U.K., Canada, Australia和China五个国家的名称及在地图上的形状，更重要的是如何用英语在地图上表达东西南北四个方位以及四会单词map, country的教学。考虑到兴趣是获取知识，培养创新能力最基本、最重要的因素之一。在课件的设计上，我采取换位思考，从孩子的眼光，心理，生理各方面考虑，力求能让他们喜欢，想方设法唤起学生的求知欲，使他们以最佳的身心状态投入到新知识的学习中。如：在设计小短片时，我把风靡全球的英国电影《哈利波特》的主人公和澳大利亚可爱的小动物考拉都搬了进去，收到了意想不到的效果。事实证明当学生学到和自己身边、生活中息息相关的东西时，会表现出很高的积极性和兴奋性，所以教师可在教学过程中多注意知识与生活的相结合，因为毕竟知识最终目的是要运用于生活。

通过本课的教学，我发现chant 和游戏 stick the map 的设计也很适合学生口味，调动了全班同学的兴致，让全班学生都动了起来，活了起来。使课堂教学充满了活力，使学生亲身体会到了探求真知的乐趣。也正是由于这个原因，使得整节课学生自始至终都能保持高涨的情绪，结尾时达到了本课的第二个高潮。

最后布置的作业是比较开放性的，这样学生可根据自己的喜好和特长来展示自己的知识和才华，这样的作业更让学生喜欢，所以教师在平时应留意多留些这样的作业，让学生更喜欢英语作业，也就会更喜欢学英语了。

纵观整节课，我努力为学生提供了一个有效的教学环境和宽松的课堂环境。时刻注意激发他们的学习热情和兴趣

，并采用“任务——探究——创造”型教学方法，以把学生培养成为思想健康积极，有创造性的人材为目的。整个课堂气氛活跃，学生表现欲强，达到了很好的教学效果。
