Daily Greeting T: Good afternoon, Everyone,last year, the famous Chinese director—Zhang Yimou made a fantastic film —

The Great Wall”, Let’s enjoy some parts of the film. It is so Great! This film made our Great Wall become more and more popular in the world.(通过电影片段引入今天的课题,提高学生的学习积极性。)

Presentation Step1 T: This time, Danny and Jenny come to China, they want to visit to the Great Wall first. So Mr. Li and Ling Ming take them to the Great Wall.How many characters 故事图片

学情分析

are there in the story? On their way, Li Ming tells Danny, “He who has not go to the Great Wall is not a true man.”In China it means “不到长城非好汉”. Danny is very excited. So he wants to write his name on the Great Wall! Does he write at last? What will happened? Let’s listen to this story and find out the answer. (教师首先为故事进行简单的铺垫,让学生在听之前对故事有一个大概的理解,这样在接下来的听读环节中,就会降低一定的难度,让大部分学生都能够听懂故事内容。)

Step2: T: Read the story after the tape,imitation is very important, pay attention to it. T: This time, read this story by yourself. Now, can you answer my question? Does Danny write his name on the Great Wall? S: No, he doesn’t. Because Li Ming told him we should keep the Great Wall clean and beautiful. T: Good. But how can we keep it clean and beautiful? S: Don’t draw and write on the Great Wall. T: Yes, but except this, what do you have other ways? Talk about it in your group, about 5 minutes. T: Time is up, could you show me your answers? S: Dont’t leave rubbish. Don’t speak loudly.... T: All of you did a good job! Look at the sentences you give to me, what kind of sentence do they belong to? They are the imperative sentences. If you want make one, you should put a verb at the beginning.For example: Don’t open the door./ Don’t eat too much junk food./ Drink a lot of water every day. Who wants to make some sentences like these? (学习课文,既要能够熟读也要学会其中的语法内容,并能够举一反三。) Step3: T: Now,I’ll show you some world famous places: The West Lake, The Big Ben, The Summer Place and The British Museum. Each of them is very clean and beautiful, they need us to protect! What can do? What can’t we do? Each group choose one place, write down your rules on a piece of paper, later we can stick under the pictures. (根据文本内容进行扩展,发散学生的思维,让学生能学到的不仅仅局限于课本)

Step4: T: It’s our show time! You can act the story of the Great Wall or choose another

to adapt. Try to put some new sentences in you story. (表演故事,或者改编,培养学生的表达能力。)

Step5: T: Great job! From today’s story. I thing all of you have known how to protect our environment. Look at the paper on the floor, what should I do now? S: Pick it up and put in the rubbish bin! Homework 1.
