Lesson 5 What Are They Doing? 一、教学目标：

1学生能听、说、认、读、写词汇：read，have，find，play 2.学生能听、说、认、读词汇newspaper，card，fun，with 3.学生能理解并运用下列基本句型结构：What are you doing? They are ____ing? 4.能在交际中灵活运用现在进行时。

二、教学重、难点：

1.学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇：read，have，find，play 2.使学生能正确使用现在进行时描述正在进行的事情。

教学图片、录音机

教学过程：

一、Warming up 1.Greeting 2.Review ：利用卡片复习表示动作的动词并将这些动词改为现在分词。

二、 Leading in

1.

展示图片，提出问题“What is the man in the picture doing？”要求学生用现在进行时描述。

2.

复习巩固现在进行时的构成和用法。

三、Presentation （一）听课文第一部分录音

1.回答问题：What is the baby in the picture doing？

2.连线：

The woman is playing with the baby. The man is playing cards with his friends. Danny is reading the newspaper. （二）听录音，跟读

（三）分组讨论图片中人们正在进行的动作。

四、Practise 1.自读课文

2.分角色读课文

3.和同桌用现在进行时编对话。

五、Homework: 1.用英语写一篇小短文，描述自己家人正在做的事情。

2.完成Let’s do it！中的练习。
