教学设计说明: 1.

教学内容介绍：

本堂课是一节听说课, 使用的教材是电影《疯狂动物城》中的四个节选片段。所选的电影片段展现了许多生活中的真实场景并体现了学生在日常生活中可能会遇到的困惑。教师可以充分利用这些电影片段，作为听说材料，丰富学生的英语听说体验，进而帮助学生熟悉新高考听说要求，提高其英语听说能力。

教学设计理念：

本次教学设计是以听说的形式，围绕新高考的听说考试的要求，采用的教法和教学设计理念遵循在英语语境中学习的原则，通过赏析《疯狂动物城》的电影片段，提高学生学习英语的兴趣，并设计难度渐增的听说任务来提升学生的听说能力。

学情分析：

高一（2）班是一个学习气氛活跃的班级，对于英语歌曲和电影表现出极大的兴趣。每周两次的电影展示活动使学生保持很好的英语学习兴趣。但是在学生活动展示的过程中，体现出他们相对较弱的英语听说能力，无法自信地用英语表达观点并在同学中进行交流，从而影响到英语在日常会话中实际应用的有效性。

Lesson Plan

Listening and Speaking

Teaching Aims: Through this lesson, students are expected to

1. Get familiar with the listening and speaking requirements in the Entrance Exam for College.

2. Develop students’ listening and speaking skills by watching movie clips.

3. Arouse students’ interest in studying English and increase confidence in speaking English.

Teaching focus: The whole lesson will focus on listening and outputting ideas according to the instructions. Teaching methods: Task-based language teaching and communicative language teaching. Teaching difficulty: To engage students in expressing their ideas in English.

Teaching Aids: Multi-media, whiteboard, marker, movie clips. Teaching Procedures:

Stages Pre-Task

Teacher’s activities

1) Teacher raises questions concerning English movies.

2) Teacher gives a brief introduction of the heroin’s dream in her childhood. 1) Teacher guides Sts to understand questions in Task One and plays the movie clip.

2) Teacher invites Sts to share their answers.

3) Teacher plays the second movie clip and engages Sts in brainstorming Q-A in pairs according to the plot.

6) Teacher clarifies the third task and plays the third movie clip.

7) Teacher checks the answers with the Sts, guides Sts to finish the second task in pairs in Task Three.

8) Teacher raises an open question concerning suggestions on how to deal with argument with friends.

Post Task

Teacher summarizes the whole class after playing the fourth movie clip.

4) Sts give presentations in pairs.

5) Sts cooperate with one another and make up a story by applying the key words and give presentations.

6) Sts read the directions on the worksheet and fill in the blanks while listening to the third movie clip.

7) Sts give their answers, imitate the roles with partners and give their performance.
