教学目标: 1.能够听、说、认读father/dad,mother/mum等家庭成员词汇。

2.能够运用Who's that boy? He's my brother. Is she your mother? Yes, she is.

No,she isn't.谈论家庭成员，并能够在具体的语境中灵活运用。

3.培养学生关爱家人，热爱家庭的情感。

学情分析:

学生们对于家庭成员的话题很感兴趣，利用家人的照片进行会话，使学生有真实素材可以和同学交流，学生热情很高；学生有一定地句型和词汇基础，使他们有能力进行本单元地话题交流。

教学重难点:

重点: 能够正确理解并使用句型Is she your mother? Yes, she is. Is he your father? No, he isn't. He's my teacher!。

难点: 掌握元音字母e在单词中的发音。

Teaching Procedure Step 1 Warming-up Let’ chant: “Family”

(设计意图：以一首“家庭”话题的歌谣热身，既起到活跃课堂的作用，又从课堂初始渗透情感目标。) Step 2 Revision Use “Simba’s family” to review the learned words and sentence patterns:

father-dad; mother-mum; man-woman Who’s that woman? She’s my mother.

(设计意图：通过PPT及视频呈现狮子王“辛巴”一家，复习已知词汇和句型。) Step 3 Presentation 1.

Lead-in T: A girl in our book also has a happy family, and do you know "who is she? "and "Where is she from?"

Talk to Sarah about her family, and present the new word “brother” and “sister”.

Listen to Part 1 of the dialogue between Sarah and Amy, and figure out “Who is the boy in the video?”

Listen to Part 2 of the dialogue, and figure out “Who is the woman in the video?” Present the key sentence pattern “Is she your mother? Yes, she is.”

Listen to Part 3 of the dialogue, and figure out “Who is the man in the video?” Present the key sentence pattern “Is he your father? No, he isn’t.”

Listen to the whole dialogue and answer the following questions: (1) Is the boy Sarah’s brother?

Yes, he is.

(2) Is the woman Sarah’s mother?

Yes, she is.

(3) Is the man Sarah’s father?

No, he isn’t. He’s Sarah’s teacher.

1. Read the dialogue aloud and practice it in pairs. (设计意图：合作学习，进一步熟练掌握对话。) 2. Role play Ss act the dialogue between Sarah and Amy out in roles. (设计意图：创设真实语境，使学生进一步练习会话句型。) 3. Sarah's grandfather and grandmother live on a farm. T: "Who are missing in the Sarah's family tree?”and talk about her grandparents and drill the key sentence pattern “Is he/she your grandfather?”

(设计意图：深挖文本，进行有效拓展，进一步操练会话句型。) Step 4 Production 1. Guess and say

present my family photos and describe one in simple sentences and the Ss guess which one and who he/she is. (设计意图：用语言描述教师自己的家庭成员，让学生猜是哪一位和他是谁。创设真实而有趣的语言环境，激发学生表达欲望。) 2. Group work

Talk about the family photo in groups. (设计意图：创设真实语境，进行有效语言交际。) 3. Video on “family”
