Teaching aims 1、Be able to listen, speak and recognize the words and phrases: bedroom, living room, bathroom.

emotion of loving family, encourage them to imagine their homes as brave as possible.

Teaching Procedures

Ⅰ.Warm-up

1. Greetings: Greet students as usual. 2. Let students look at the screen, listen to the part “Let’s sing”, listen and repeat together.

活动设计意图：sing 内容渗透本课的重点句式和重点词汇。学生在听的过程中，不仅预习了将要学习的句型和词汇，而且调动了学生学习的积极性，舒缓了学生课前紧张的情绪，使其能较快地投入到英语学习中去。

II. Presentation 1. Show some pictures on the screen and teach new words. (pay attention to the pronunciation of these words) 2. Show the words that they’ve learnt before and some pictures on the screen and have students match. Invite one or two students to answer the questions. Then check the answers together.

3. Show a picture of Lily’s house on the screen; click each word in the picture to listen to the pronunciation of them so that students can consolidate these key words. 活动设计意图：教师在这里设计听音、感知、回答问题的环节，旨在让学生带着问题听音，注意力不易分散；再通过回答问题，教师初步了解学生听音的效果，便于教学中对重难点的把握。

III. Practice 1.

A. Let’s do: teacher does some gestures and let students guess what she is doing, encourages them to imagine bravely, and then shows the picture to teach new sentences. (pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation of these structures) 2．Show another picture and require students to guess the name of the places in order to consolidate the phrases.

3．Ask students to practice in pairs: invite some pairs of students to perform in front of the whole class. Two students for each group, one does gestures, the other guesses, the group that guesses the most exactly and fastest will win the match, teacher should praise them and give them presents. 活动设计意图：通过游戏的形式进行问答练习。提高学生学习英语兴趣的同时，又较好地为学生创设了练说英语的机会，使学生的语言技能得以提高。这些活动是让学生灵活运用所学语言进行交流。学生在活动中情绪高涨，将课堂氛围推向高潮。同时学生需要开动脑筋，大胆运用英语问答，在活动中，充分体现小组成员合作的团队精神。

IV. Conversation and Extension 1．Draw and Say: Ask students to draw houses they imagine and then introduce each room to their partners one by one. Teacher can introduce her home that she images. 2．Show a saying and cultivate their emotion of loving family and the country. 活动设计意图：旨在让学生进一步复习、巩固所学的内容，同时感知新授课中涉及的句型和词汇。
