PEP四年级上册Unit6 Meet my family Part C Story time 一、教学目标
(一)知识目标
1. Students would be able to understand the story as a whole.
2. Students would be able to master and use the sentences: What's your father's job? He a cook. He is a taxi driver.
3. Students would be able to learn the sentences and new words: These are photos of my family. Is he a teacher? Taxi driver baseball player.
(二)技能目标
Students would be able to use English in their daily life.
(三)情感与态度价值观
1. Students would be able to love their family members.
2. Students would be able to have their dream jobs and work hard for it.
3. Students would be able to know lots of jobs around us and respect every job.
二、教学重点
重点: 1. Ss can understand and say the sentences: What's your father's job? He a cook.
2.Ss master the main words in Unit 6: father, uncle, grandpa, cook,taxi driver, teacher.
难点: Act out the story.
三、教学过程
Step1 Warm up
1.T: Morning!Kids.Let's enjoy a song.Show me your hands and sing with the song.
2. T: Great!Such a beautiful song.Now,let's begin today's lesson. First,I will show you some pictures.Look at the first picture.Who's that?And what's her job?
S:It's our English teacher.
T:Haha,it's me.
T:Let's look at the second one.Look at the photos.These are photos of my family.This is me.I am an English teacher.This is my sister.She is a teacher,too.And my mother ,she is a farmer.This is my father.He is a cook.This is my uncle,and he is a taxi driver.At last,this is my grandpa.Guess,what's his job?
S:Is he a teacher?
T:Yes,you are very clever.
T:Look,a baseball player.Who's that?It's my big brother.
设计目的:通过欣赏歌曲What's his/her job?让孩子们感受动物们的梦想职业,把本节课的难点These are photos of my
family.先让学生感知,为下文做好铺垫)。
Step2 Presentation
1. T: This is my family. What about our friend Zip's
family?What's her father's job?Now,Listen.
2.S1:He's a cook.
T: Yes. let' s meet Zips family. Oh, Zip invites her friends to come to her home. Who are they?(黑板上贴ZIP和她朋友的图片)。Ss: The cat ,The dog,The Rabbit and The mouse.
T: If you are Zip, what should you say?
S1: Hi, welcome.
S2. Come in.
S3: Hi!Welcome to my home.
T: Wow, you are so polite. Let' s listen. What does Zip say? (情感的渗透,让学生有礼貌的接待客人)
3. T: Then they come in and go upstairs. What do they see? T&Ss:Look, these are photos of Zip' s family.(引导学
生一起说)
T &Ss: They are Zip' s father and mother. zip' s mother
is hugging zip. Zip is strong. She is carrying a carrot. They have a happy family. And they love each other.
(情感渗透,让学生感受Zip有一个幸福的家,爱自己的家人) 2. T: Listen and follow it. What are they talking about?
T: Then they keep walking. Oh, who's he?
S1:He's zip' s father.
S2: Maybe he is zip' s uncle.
T:What's his job?
S:He is a cook.
T:Now,Listen and follow.(板书What' s your ...job? He is a….) T: Why does the mouse say great?(让学生思考)
SI: The mouse likes eating yummy food.
T: Wow. the cook can cook delicious food. So I think the cook is....(让学生思考,对这个职业产生敬佩之情)
4.T:What' s this?Who's he?What's he1ike?What's his job? Does he like his job?(同上引出第四幅图片,一系列问题让学生读图,感受他热爱自己的工作并为自己的工作而骄傲,并小组讨论他们在说些什么?)请两组学生对话。
T:Now Listen.(板书taxi driver)
T: The taxi driver can take people to anywhere. So I think the taxi driver is...(让学生体会司机能帮助很多人所以要尊重每个职业).
S1: The taxi driver is cool.
S2 The taxi driver is amazing.
5. T: We know Zip's father is a cook. Zip's uncle is a taxi driver. And then they talk about Zip's...(让学生说)
T:What's his job?
S1:He is a teacher.( waiter, manager...)
T: how do you know?
S1:I see a book under his arm.
T: Listen and follow it.
6.Look! A baseball player! who' s that?
S1: Maybe she is Zip's sister.
T: listen.
T:Follow it.Haha!It's me!(让学生模仿语音语调,感
受Zip想成为棒球员的骄傲之情)
T:Now, pair work.(让学生体验ZIP的心情,找一组表演) Step3 Consolidation and Extension
1. T: Now,let's watch the whole story.
T:1et's imitate.
T: I' m Zip. Who can be The cat, The dog, The Rabbit and The mouse?(老师做示范表演一遍)
T: Find your friends and act out the story.
2.T: I have a question:Is Zip really a baseball player in the story? Ss: No, she has no job. She wants to be a baseball
player.(让学生思考得知ZIP的梦想职业)
3. T: From the story, we know Zip wants to be a baseball player in the future. What about her friends? I think the cat wants
to be a police officer, because he can run fast think the dog wants to be a...(通过观察动物的外形和特点,让学生思考其它几个动物的职业梦想)
T: All the animals have their dream jobs. Look, a lot of jobs around us, jobs make the world go around, whatever your job is, it' s meaningful, helpful and wonderful. My little brother has a dream, too. He wants to be a football player in the future
So he plays football everyday. Maybe he is a football player in the future.(通过动物们的梦想职业到给孩子看有各种各样的职业在我们身边,无论是什么工作都是有用的,平等的。我的小弟弟也有梦想,那你们呢?让孩子思考自己的梦想职业,打开百度网页,让孩子们自己搜索不会用英语表达的职业名称)
4.T: What about you? What's your dream job?
What do you want to be in the future?(边唱边问) Write drown. 5. T: I have a WISH BOTTLE. Put your dream in it. Make a wish. And work hard for your dream.It will come ture.(在歌声中让孩子把自己的梦想放在许愿瓶里)
Step4 Homework
1.Act out the story with your partners.
2. Tell your parents your dream job and work hard for it. Goodbye! see you next time.
