Present World Animal Day When is World Animal Day（世界动物日）？

Animals are our friends.

Do you have an animal friend? What’s your animal friend? I have two animal friends. One is a monkey and the other is a bird.

【设计意图】讨论学生都很熟悉且喜欢的节日来调动课堂气氛，让学生初步感受新知，引出话题。

3. Let the Ss watch the video and answer two questions. （Help the Ss learn the new words：arm, leg, tail…）

Then watch the video of the birds （Help the Ss learn the new words：body—bodies, wings, foot---feet…) 【设计意图】通过直观生动的视频，渗透文本内容，用身体语言帮助学生初步感知目标词汇.

【设计意图】指导学生把握文章脉络，找出句式，把握思维走向，为描述学生自己的动物朋友铺垫准备。试着放手让学生自己朗读。
