教材分析:

本课是牛津上海三年级英语上册第八课Happy Birthday,本课主要是运用所学句型Happy Birthday.Here is ... for you.来祝福生日快乐并赠送礼物;运用句型Make a wish. Cut the cake.来为家人或朋友庆祝生日。复习句型:How old are you ?并在说说唱唱中掌握生日歌。

学情分析:

三年级的学生有一定语音和词汇基础,接触了一些简单的词汇和句型,知道怎样上英语课,能够在教师指导下顺利学习,能够在教师的指令下参加一些活动,对直观生动的东西充满兴趣。所以本节课利用生动形象的卡片,动画,声音调动学生的积极性。小学生抽象思维不如形象思维,所以对句型的理解和运用将是本节课的最大障碍。

教学内容:单词:birthday、card、cake、noodles

句型:Happy Birthday.

Cut the cake.

教学目标:

知识目标:1、学习运用名词:

birthday、card、cake、noodles

2、学生能够读出birthday、card、cake、noodles 的正确发音,并理解它们的含义。

3、学习掌握句型Happy Birthday.

能力目标:能根据图片和情境说单词和句子。在一定场景下进行简单的英语交流和表演。

情感目标:通过本课学习使学生有兴趣听、说英语、做游戏、敢于开口,乐于模仿,在鼓励性评价中树立信心,在小组合作学习中感受学英语的乐趣,在给好朋友、亲人过生日的过程中感受友情、亲情的温暖。拓展内容:单词gift,song,candle.

重点难点:

重点:1名词birthday、card、cake、noodles的运用。

2能在真实的场景中运用句型Happy Birthday.Here is ... for you.来祝福他人生日快乐并赠送礼物;

运用句型Make a wish. Cut the cake.来为家人或朋友庆祝生日。

Pre-task preparation:

1.Show time

设计意图:每节课课前进行1-2名同学的自我介绍,让学生在准备内容和练习演讲的过程中体验荣誉感和成就感,也是对学生进行基本的听、说训练,培养学生基本的日常会话能力。同时也培养了学生英语学习的兴趣,使他们喜欢学习和使用英语。

2.多媒体播放Happy birthday.

设计意图:一开始让学生听生日歌,营造出课堂气氛,让学生直接进入本课的语言使用环境中。

Step 1. New words and sentences

1.Good! You all know this song.when can we hear this song? Yes, on someone’s birthday.Today is Alice’s birthday.

Let’s go and have a look how people celebrate her birthday.Now please answer my questions.

We can see many kinds of cards in our lives, such as a birthday, a New Year card, a Christmas card. I have many cards here, too.

(引导学生说出单词cake,noodles,gift,song,candle) 设计意图:通过预设问题和谜语、声音等多种方式引出本课新单词,这样设置问题使学生产生表达的欲望,基本上每个人都想说出自己的答案,从而激发学习的积极性和主动性。多媒体中出现的图像、与单词的拼写以及教师的发音让学生在音、形、义相结合之中学习新知识。学生能够认真的融入情景来运用句型。老师边说边做的教学方法使得学生对于新单词新句型有了形象生动的认识。

设计意图:韵律歌曲使教学变得生动而不枯燥,也极大地调动了学生学习的积极性。既锻炼了他们的口头表达能力,又能非常扎实地复习所学内容。

Step 4. Birthday party

Normally people will have a birthday party on birthdays.Alice is having her birthday party at home. Let’s go and have a look.

Look! What’s this? Yes. Here is a birthday cake for you.Happy birthday! Make a wish. Blow! Cut the cakes. 设计意图:通过师生对话形式自然引出Alice的生日会,同时播放视频,让学生初步感知生日会的一般流程。然后利用生日蛋糕和蜡烛等实物为学生创设生日情景,学习和操练句型Make a wish.Blow.Cut the cake.等句型。

Step 5. Mind mapping

the birthday song together. Next, the birthday kids make a wish and cut the cake. At last, they will have some noodles. Do you understand?

设计意图:思维导图又称心智图,主要通过中心词的辐射作用来完成对其它知识的学习。从中心词出发,将所有的知识连接成一个完整的网络,搭建一个记忆框架,让学生能学会对知识的自我选择与整合。思维导图能够将学习的模块细化,用新颖的方式来实现对新知识的理解,这对学生的学习能力和记忆能力都是一种很好的锻炼。
