一、教材内容分析

This lesson is about home.It’s very close to students’ daily life. So it will be easier for them to follow the teacher to understand the main knowledge.

二、教学目标

1.

Knowledge aim: Students can listen,say and spell some new words,like bedroom, living room,study and so on. 2.

Ability aim: Students can use the sentence patterns “Where is ...? He/She is in the ....”to ask and answer. 3.

Emotional aim: Students will love their family in their daily life.

四、教学过程

Step 1: Warm-up

T: At the beginning of this class, let’s sing the song of unit 4 together. Students sing the song “We are a family.”

Step 2: Lead-in

The teacher show the picture of Joy. T: Look, there is a beautiful little girl. Can you tell me who is she?S:She is Joy. T: This is Joy’s room. Today we are going to go into Joy’s room and meet her family. Let’s go.

Step 3: Presentation 1.

The teacher play the song of lesson 1 for 2 times. The first time:students just listen and then answer the questions “What’s Joy’s grandmother/grandfather/mother/father......doing?”

S:She is watering the plants./He is watching TV. The second time: students sing after the tape. 2.

T: Who can tell me where is Joy’s mother? S:bedroom She is in the bedroom. The teacher teach the new words one by one like this. Step 4: Consolidation

The teacher organize students to play a game: when the picture show up, students should say the words as quickly as they can. The teacher will

pick the fastest one.

Step 5: Practice

The teacher organize students to free-talk. Ask answer with the sentence patterns “

Where is ...? He/She is in the... .”One minute to practice in their seat. After that, show everyone. 五、总结与反思

The teacher should give more and more chances to students and let them speak a lot, listen a lot, and practice a lot.Because English is a language. It should be used in the daily life.
