Get the students to look at the words and phrases in the book in Activity 1.

Get the students to discus the question of “Module task”.

Say: What are you going to do at the weekend?

In groups do answer it and write it.

Get some students to say their answers.

Collect the answers from the class.

Step 7. Discussing

Divide the students into groups of three.

Say: What you’d like to do at the weekend?

Get the students to read through the three passages, and choose one role for themselves.

Ask some students to read the passage and answer their questions.

Circulate and monitor production for later remedial work, as necessary. Step 8. Practice

Ask the students to complete the diary with what they are really going to do next
