Unit 3 Staying Healthy (Lesson 1) 学情分析:

六年级的学生学习英语有四年时间,学生爱模仿、乐学、大胆踊跃发言,能积极参与小组活动,有团结协作的精神和具有创新的思维能力。经过几年的学习,六年级学生已掌握了一定的英语语法和事态知识和有较强的写作能力;也能听懂日常交际用语,能积极参与课堂活动和积极思考问题。学生对于听说读写的技能已有扎实的基础。对于本课中关于描述食物的好处与坏处的对比是难点,要深化练习,提高写作的能力。

教材分析:

本课教学内容选自粤人版的开心学英语《Friends With English 》第8册

Unit 3 Staying Healthy.本单元要求学生能根据所学的食物并对该食物的益处与危害进行比较,然后能流利地完成一篇小作文的写作与描述。文段的写作对于学生具有相对的难度,教师一定要灵活处理教材并层层渗入,达到融会贯通和举一反三的作用。

一、教学目的:

1、语言知识

(1)学生能四会(听说读写)掌握六个单词或词汇:

too much ,plenty, good for you, bad for you, healthy, unhealthy. (2)学生能熟练运用句型:“What’s good / bad for me ? Too much cola is bad for you.……

Plenty of vegetables are good for me……”进行会话和交际。

2、语言技能

(1)能利用核心句型来学习单词,培养学生听说读写的能力。 (2)通过创设情景,综合运用所学语言进行交流,培养学生在实际生活中运

用语言的交际能力和对语言的应变能力。

3、文化意识

通过实物的可数名词与不可数名词的对比,食物对人体的益处与坏处的对比,使学生清晰辨别日常生活中可数名词使用(plenty of)与不名词名词使用(too much)的区别:单数时使用be动词is的变化;复数时使用be动词:are的规律; 4、情感态度

(1)通过小组合作学习,让每一个学生都能积极主动参与语言交际活动,发挥学生主观能动性,敢于表达交流,体会合作学习的快乐。

(2)联系生活实际,渗透德育教学:使学生认识各种食物与水果有益健康的生活习惯。

(3)通过学习,了解想要一个健康的身体,就必须注意均衡饮食,多做运动。

5、学习策略

通过情景教学法、任务型教学法、小组合作学习策略等对学生的认知策略(听的策略、说的策略、读的策略和写的策略)和基本技能进行指导,培养学生在活动中用英语与他人交流的交际策略。

二、教学重点:

1.Words and sentences 2. Help the students to use the sentence patterns fluently. 三、教学难点:

能正确运用食物的(可数名词与不可数名词)以及副词:plenty of 和

too much. 四、教学策略:

1. 任务教学法、情景教学法、全身反应法、游戏活动、归纳总结等方法综合运用。

2. 食物实物的单词和相关的图片、幻灯片的制作等。

3、小组合作探究和自主学习的能力培养。

五、教学步骤;

一、Greetings and Warming- up exercises.

T: Good morning. Nice to meet you. I’m happy today. How are you?

Let’s do some body exercise.(简易身体健康操)

二、Lead-in

T: Look! Here is some fruit for you. Do you like fruit? What do you like? 指板书说(贴课题:They are good for you.)

三、Revision T: Now let’s review the old words. Can you say it out? (出示课件:看图说出单词和词组)----复习水果和食物单词

四、Teaching of the new lesson. 1. 导入新课:

T: Today Gogo comes to see me. But he doesn’t feel well. Something is wrong with him. What’s the matter with Gogo? Let’s listen to the tape.

2.Listen to the tape: Target sentences. (初步了解听力句子内容)

3.Listen again: Try to know what’s the matter with Gogo? Pay attention these questions( 示课件问题:Listen to the tape again.(深入了解内容) 4.Learn to say the new sentences.(课件配合课文句子的教学,边学边说)

a) T: What’s wrong with you? I had too much cola.

b)Exercises: What’s wrong with him/her?

He/She had a bad fever/headache.

c) What else is bad for me? Too much junk food is unhealthy.

That’s bad for you.

d) What’s good for me? Get plenty of

food, eat plenty of vegetables and drink a lot of water.

e) Role play: (师生或男女分角色朗读课文句子) 五、Drills. A) T: (出示课件:

What’s bad for me? 引导学生提问题,师出示图片。

S: What else is bad for me? Ice cream/ Watching TV/ Playing games/ Staying up late/ Smoking/Drugs…

B) What’s good for me? Water/ Vegetables/ Running/ Swimming/ Exercise/ Having more “green” food…

C) 创设情景:(师出示水果篮)

Who can ask me questions, and you can get some fruit.(引导学生正确运用本课的句子进行情景交际活用) 六、Group work. (四人小组为单位,运用所带的食物和水果进行交际运用。) 七、Exercises: Listen and fill in the blanks.

八、Do a survey. (配音乐)

Ask your friends: What’s good /bad for you? And list it out, write down on your paper:

九、Write a passage. (指导写作方法)

1. Fast –reading. 2. Underline the key words and sentences. 3. Write down the key words and retell the passage.
