Teaching steps: Step 1 Class opening

Greetings. Such as: “How are you? What do you like to do in your free

time? I like to watch movies to relax myself on weekends. And ask :Do you like watching a movie? Step 2 Presentation

Show students a picture and ask: Do you know this movie? (Kung Fu Panda). Then show them another picture, and describe the picture by using the words such as: hero fight save …Tell students we are going to learn a story just like it , the hero is Kung Fu Dinosaur. Lead in our new lesson

Step 3 Listening

Listen to the passage and circle the correct pictures.

Step 4 Reading

1. Work in small groups, read the text and try to find out the pictures in order. Then put them in a line. 2. Read the lesson and put the sentences in the correct order. 3. Read the text and fill in the blanks. Then ask students to read the short passage. Step 5 Retell

With the whole class, try to retell the story by using the pictures.Then ask students work in pairs to retell the text. Step 6 Activity
