1. Read through the example sentences in the box with the whole class.

Are these crayons yours? — Whose bag is this? —

It’s mine.

— Whose gloves are these?—

They’re mine.

2. Ask the students to repeat the sentences in the box. Step 3 Work in pairs

1. Ask the students to look at the pictures in Activity 1.

2. Read through the sentences. — Whose bag is this? Is it yours? — No, it’s not mine. It’s his. 3. Ask and answer questions in pairs. Step 4 Grammar.

表示所有关系的代词叫物主代词, 也可叫作代词所有格。

可分为两种: 名词性物主代词 形容词性物主代词

名词性物主代词起名词的作用，相当于“形容词性物主代词+名词”，可避免重复使用已提到的名词。

e.g. This cup is mine (=my cup). These basketballs are ours (=our basketballs). It’s his bike, not yours (=your bike).

That bag is hers (=her bag). 与上面的七个名词性物主代词对应的形容词性物主代词如下表所示：

形容词性物主代词起形容词的作用，用在名词前作定语。

名词所有格

we you they 名词所有格表示所属关系，’s所有格是其中的一种，意为“……的”。

1. 单数名词和不以-s结尾的复数名词在词尾加’s。

e.g. the boy’s mother

男孩的母亲

women’s clothes

女人的衣服

2. 以-s结尾的复数名词只需在词尾加’， e.g. students’ schoolbags

学生的书包。

3. 表示两个人共同拥有某物时，只需后一个名词用’s所有格；表示两个人各自拥有某物时，则两个名词都得用’s所有格。

e.g. Tom and Mike’s teacher

汤姆和迈克共同的老师

Tom’s and Mike’s teachers

汤姆和迈克各自的老师
