5. Teaching Steps Step 1 Warming-up 1. Show some pictures of festival and say what festivals they are and what else do they know. 2. Distinguish the festivals and ask what the biggest festival in January or February is in China. 3. Look at the pictures and ask the students what are they doing for Spring Festival. And learn the new words from the pictures.

Step 2 Listening practice.

1. Listen and number the pictures. 2. Provide some phrases and ask the student to talk about what is happening in the picture. 3. Watch the video and choose the correct answer. 4. Listen to the recording and complete the table on PPT.
