Teaching Objectives:

At the end of the period, students are expected to

understand the author’s attitude towards adapted films and his reasons by applying reading strategies like predicting, skimming, scanning and summarizing.

2)

master new words and expressions and other words related to films, such as visualise, spring, script, cast, adaptation, screenwriter, critic, highly regarded and previously unfilmable.

form and express their own opinions on adapted films through critical reading and thinking.
