一、教学内容分析

本课是PEP人教版五年级下册Unit 3《My school calendar》中的最后一课时，前面学生已学会了有关月份的单词，本课主要学习有关月份的歌曲。歌词主要是十二个月份的单词，句型有When is... 二、学情分析

本节课的教学对象是五年级学生，五年级学生他们思维活跃，模仿能力和记忆力较强，对学习英文歌较感兴趣，在此前有着对月份话题学习的基础。在此基础上对英文歌《The twelve months》进行学习，达到巩固复习、创新运用并激发学生学习兴趣的作用。

三、教学目标

1、知识目标：学会唱英文歌《The twelve months》。

2、能力目标：能运用When is... It’s in...问答节日及活动。

四、教学重点

学生学会唱英文歌《The twelve months》。

五、教学难点

学生学会用When is... It’s in...问答节日及活动。

六、教具准备

课件和单词卡片。

七、教学过程

一、Warm up

1、Greeting. T:Hello,boys and girls!Nice to meet you.I’m your new English teacher,Miss Huang.Now,can you say “Hello”to me?

Ss:Hello,Miss Huang!Nice to meet you,too. T:Before our new lesson,let’s listen a song. （设计意图：通过简单介绍问候，拉近师生距离。）

2、Listen a song.

T:Do you like the song? What is it?

Ss:Yes,it’s a song about “birthday”.

T:Do you want to know“When is my birthday?”

S1:It’s in March. S2:It’s in July. S3:It’s in...

T:Bingo! My birthday is in June. （设计意图：本环节利用歌曲导入，既活跃气氛，又为新课教学作铺垫。）

二、Presentation 1、Review the words about the months.

T: June is a month of the year. How many months are there in a year?

Ss: Twelve.

T: Good! Let’s count the twelve month.

Ss: January, February... (设计意图：复习巩固有关月份的单词，导入课题。）

2、Review the words about the fruits.

T: Look! There are different fruits in different months.Which fruit is it?

Ss: apple--apples, peach--peaches,pear--pears,plum--plums, grape--grapes,... (设计意图：通过图片复习水果的单词，熟悉歌词内容。）

3、Listen the song (the twelve month).

T: Let’s begin our new lesson. We’ll learn a new English song. First, let’s listen the song.
