My dream school

【教材分析】

本课是人教版四年级下册Unit1 My School的补充内容,本节课的内容是有关学校的场地和数量词。本节课整合已知知识和补充材料确定主题My dream school。

【教学目标】

1. 学生能够熟练运用单词:classroom, library, swimming pool, playground, computer room, teacher’s room, lesson, opposite以及有关数量的单词。

2. 学生能够运用句型There be句型进行对梦想中的学校的描述

【教学重点】

1. 学生能够掌握有关学校场地的单词和数量的单词并运用到句子里面。

2. 运用句型There be 进行描述某处有某物。

【教学过程】

Step1 Pre- learning 1. Greeting.

T asks questions:

T: Hello, boys and girls. I’m so glad to have a class with you here today.I want to know something about you. What’s your name? Where are you from? Which school are you in?

How many classrooms are there in your school?

老师通过轻松的问简单的问题拉近与学生的距离，也为后一个环节学生提问老师做示范。 2.Bingo game

Teacher shows some information about herself and let the pupils ask questions. T:Ok, I know some of your names, your school, so do you want to know something about me? Look, this is my photo. And there are some key words here . Can you ask me some questions? Angela: What’s your name? Foshan: Where are you from? Food: What do you like ?

30: How many classrooms are there in your school? Chengnan Primary School: Which school are you in?

Then teacher shows a video of Chengnan Primary School and asks the pupils to remember the words（classroom, playground, swimming pool, library, computer rooms）

Step2: While learning

1.Let’s read and do

Teacher gives studentA and student B different passages about the teacher’s dream school. Student A read the passage aloud and Student B color or stick. Then take turns.

T: I love my school. But when I was a little girl like you .I want to study in a funny school. Do you want to know how is it? You will find out in the paper. Now take out the paper, student A, you got the blue paper. Student B , you got the pink paper. And both of you got a picture. I want A read out the sentences on the paper, B listen

and color or stick the things. When I clap my hands, B read, A listen and stick.

T: Now, Look, this is my dream school. Can you tell me where is my dream school? S: It’s in the forest.

T:Yes, so there are many trees. What’s on the trees?

S: There are some chocolates.(Show the picture )

T:What color is the classroom building?

S: Blue.

T: How many desks and chairs in the classroom?

S: Thirty.

T: How are they?

Step3: Post learning

1.Let’s say and do

T says a sentence: There is a pen on the book. Then the students put the pen on the book. Then asks them to practice in pairs.

2.Let’s play and say

Play a memory game: Teacher shows some pictures and asks the students to describe it with the sentence pattern: There is …/There are….

There is a cat in the bag.

There is a duck in the truck.

There are some sheep under the tree.

Step4: Production

1.Let’s think and talk

T: Just now, you’ve seen my dream school. Do you want to know more funny school? I’ll show you two video. Let’s watch.

(Show the video of Harry Potter and The chipmunks)

Wow, do you want to study in these schools? Now make your own dream school. I offer you some stickers. You can stick on the paper and name different rooms. Then tell your classmates about your dream school in your group.

Step5: Homework

Share your picture of dream school with your classmates and tell them about your dream school.
