本单元选自牛津上海版Oxford English 1B Module 4 Things we do Unit 1 Activities。由Listen and say、Look and learn、Listen and act、Play a game、Listen and enjoy五个版块组成。本单元核心词汇为ride, skip, play, fly。核心句型为What can he/she do? He/She can ... . 基于课标和生情，我们整体设计教学目标，关注语言学习的渐进性和持续性，以切实提高学生在真实情景中的语用能力。

本单元的主题是Activities。创设的第一课时为I do sports. I am happy.学生们在课堂中，讨论自己学会的活动，进行分组。第二课时为We do sports. We are happy.，互相了解他人的特长，擅长的运动，相互学习、欣赏，共同体会运动带来的乐趣。

一年级小朋友活泼好动，喜欢直观形象思维，对游戏、竞赛特别感兴趣。在这个班中，大部分学生学习习惯良好，在课堂中能保持高效的听讲效率，但个别学生课堂注意力可能不够集中，所以老师在授课时除了关注孩子的课堂反映外，还要调动孩子的积极性，多给与学生一些鼓励性评价。一、二年级是小学生学习英语的基础阶段，这一阶段的重要任务在于激发并保持学生学习英语的兴趣。因此，在设计课堂教学活动时我们采用灵活多样的教学方法来吸引学生们的注意，努力营造乐中学，学中乐的教学情境。

【教学设计说明】

基于教材分析与学情分析，我们将本单元第一课时取名为Period 1：I do sports. I am happy.。

第一课时旨在帮助学生认知核心词组，对这些词组有初步的了解，并能运用于核心句型I can... 中。让学生了解自己的行为能力，并通过游戏活动感受快乐，增加自信。
