①T:Introduce the three main characters of the series: Jenny Smith, Li Ming and Danny. S:Follow the teacher to read.

Read word (name) by groups. T:Explain that in this lesson the students will learn to introduce themselves to someone in English. Teacher introduce where the new friends come from. Tell Ss where is Canada and China on the map. ②Teacher imitates the sounds of the flash cards and let Ss answer the questions by using the aim sentences:What’s your name?. Hi, My name is Danny. What’s your name? My name is ___.

①Model Dialogue:Ask for individual volunteers to practice a dialogue with you. As you call on each volunteer, say Stand up, please. Indicate with a gesture that you want the student to stand Ask each student to say Hello. My name is ___.

②Passing the parcel and when you stopped the student will stands up and say my name’s____. Then ask the next student. Listen to the audio and repeat. ③Listen to the song.Ss can exchange their names in the song.
