一、教材分析
本单元的话题是LiMing和Jenny Danny在加拿大的学校生活。本课是第二单元的第三课,主要内容是学习在科学课上关于温度的知识,各地天气与温度,学生的正常体温和小鸡健康体温问题。
二、学情分析
六年级学生已经掌握了有关天气和数字的单词及句型,
通过教师的引导和指导,继续深入学习温度,激发学习兴趣,提高学习的效率。
三、教学目标
1、知识与技能目标:
(1)学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇:ill,lesson,its (2)学生能认读、理解并运用下列问句:
How’s the weather today? What’s the temperature? 2、情感态度目标: (1)培养学生观察和思维能力,激发学生的学习兴趣。
(2)感知温度的变化,学会表达温度。培养学生的合作精神,增强语言运用能力。
四、教学重难点
1、教学重点:
掌握单词temperature, degree,ill,并熟练运用“What is the temperature? It’s _____degrees.”描述温度。
2、教学难点:
能正确表达体温,并了解healthy的意思。

Free talk T: What day is today ? T: Is it warm today ? How do you feel today? T: Today we will learn a new lesson .(板书课题)Let’s get to work. Are you ready? Do you like chants ? OK , follow me. 多媒体展示Chant: Spring, spring, warm and rainy. Summer, summer, hot and sunny. Autumn, autumn ,windy and cloudy. Winter, winter, cold and snowy. The students will chant twice. Then follow the teacher and read it three times. Now introduce how to ask the temperature. 并介绍当问温度时用句子What’s the temperature? 回答时用:It’s _____degrees. The students watch the thermometer. And tell us the temperature in groups. S1:It’s eighteen degrees. S2: It’s nineteen degrees. 2.
Play Chain- Exercise . Ask and answer. What’s the temperature ? It’s _______ degrees.

( Show the slides again.再次出示幻灯片。) (1) What’s the baby’s temperature ? ( 37.8 degrees ) Is it a healthy temperature? 教师出示体温表图片,引导孩子用It’s _____degrees.来回答。

结合教学内容,设计贴近学生生活的教学活动,,吸引和组织他们积极参与,共同学习。) 5. T: We’re healthy. But the chicken’s temperature is 41.5 degrees. Its temperature is 41.5 degrees. New word: its 它的 Write this word on the blackboard. Practise the new word “its”. T:Is the chicken ill or healthy ? No, it’s healthy. It’s a healthy chicken.

Its temperature is always 41.5 degrees. 6. Listen and answer 引导学生听录音,将课文第一部分的内容听两遍,其中听第一遍之前出示以下几个问题,带问题听,听后回答老师的问题:
(1)What’s Li Ming’s temperature? Is Li Ming healthy ? (2)What’s the chicken’s temperature? Is the chicken ill or healthy? 听第二遍的时候,让学生打开课本跟读并认真完成Let’s do it.的第一部分内容。
7.Role Play Ask the students to read the dialogue in groups. (设计意图:通过听音跟读来检测学生的听力及理解能力,帮助学生理清思路,加深学习重点,情景再现检验学习效果,培养学生各项基本语言技能。) Step 3: Practice and Production (1)Show the pictures of Beijing, Guangzhou ,Canberra and London.Can you talk about the weather and temperature of these cities? 你能谈论一下这几个城市的天气状况和气温吗?
