《Lesson 20 Warm, cool》教学设计
一、教学目标
(1)知识目标:
能听、说、认读身体部位的单词:shoulder, elbow, stomach, knee, finger and toe,并按照指令做出相应的动作;并了解一些感觉上的形容词hot, warm, cool, cold. (2)能力目标:
能够简单描述自己的身体,结合学过的语言描述身体各个部位的名称,如:This is my shoulder.通过体验,感知和经验能够描述自己的感觉: This is cold. That is hot.等
(3)情感目标:初步培养学生对自己身体及生活的热爱。鼓励学生大胆表达自己的思想。
二、教学重点
听说认读单词shoulder, elbow, stomach, knee, finger and toe,并按照指令做出相应的动作;并了解一些感觉上的形容词hot, warm, cool, cold. 三、教学难点
shoulder, elbow, stomach, knee, finger and toe单词的发音,以及hot, warm, cool, cold.这些单词的比较与区别。
四、教学过程:
Step One: Lead-in 1. Greet each other (师生互相介绍)
The teacher introduces herself and chats with the students. (设计说明):教师通过介绍自己,师生相互熟悉,活跃气氛。
2. Divide the whole class into 4 teams and do some actions. Team1, clap your hands. Team2, stamp your feet. Team3, shake your body. Team4, turn around. 3.Let’s say a chant
(1)T: I’m very happy. I’m so happy to meet you, (出示PPT)Let’s look at the feelings: happy, sad, tired, cold, hot. (2)Boys ask and girls answer. Step Two: Presentation and Practice 1. Bring up the topic(揭示话题)
The teacher is thirsty and drink some water .take out two bottles of water ,one is cold, the other is hot. T: I don’ t want to drink cold water or hot water . What can I do? S: Put the hot water into the cold water. T: That’s a good idea.
How do you feel?(让学生摸摸水杯,感觉水的温度。) S: It’s warm.
2 T: I’m still hot, so I’m fanning myself.(创设手拿扇子的情景,让学生了解cool的含义。) 3.Show them some seasons’ pictures; winter , summer, spring, autumn. T: Can you tell me something hot? S1: Fire is hot. S2: The sun is hot. T: Let’s look at some pictures.
Winter is cold. Summer is hot.
Spring is warm. Autumn is cool. T: Autumn is cool. “cool” has two meanings . one is “凉爽的” The other one is “great, wonderful” You are cool. I want to choose a cool boy to be my model. 4.Choose a boy to be a model .and draw the boy’s outline on the paper. ( 1 ) The teacher draws and the students say the parts of the body. (2)point to the shoulder and teach the new word. This is my shoulder. That is your shoulder. Point to your shoulder. Twist your shoulder. ( 3 ) Make a situation . The teacher hurts her elbow and give them a new word. This is my elbow. T: Do you know a bow? After raining , we can see a beautiful rainbow.
(4)Spell the word with your fingers. Teach them the new
word “finger”
Let’s count the fingers . One finger, two fingers … eight fingers I have eight fingers . I have two thumbs. (5)listen and do Twist your shoulder Bend your elbows Wiggle your fingers Bend your knees Touch your toes. (6)T : I ate too much .so my stomach is full.(教授新单词:stomach) (7)Let’s sing a song

This is my shoulder/ finger/ elbow/ knee/ toe/ stomach 2.Task time: Finish the task in groups. Prepare for a picture , give the boy or a girl a name, then stick the words on the right places. Step Four: Summary 1.Summarize what we learnt today. 2.Count each group’s happy faces and find out the winners.
Step Five: Homework 1.Draw a picture of your friend and write some parts of a body in English. 2.Search for more words about a body and share them with your classmates. 板书设计:
