一、教材分析
本课是《新标准英语》(一年级起点)一年级下册第七模块第一单元,本单元的话题是物品的数量和位置,功能是Talking about animals by using the structure of “there be”。本课的新学内容是“There be…”结构,这个结构的学习有一定难度,这里不需要给学生讲清楚,但一定要让学生感知“There be…”句型的特性,先让学生感知这一结构,在今后的学习中再逐步讲解,从而使学生循序渐进地掌握
“There be…”结构。
二、学情分析
一年级的学生已经经过了初学英语的时期,已经逐步建立了良好的学习英语的习惯和方法,课堂上的他们活泼好动,勇于发言,对新鲜的事物总是充满浓厚的兴趣,因此,趣味性的活动、有效地小组合作和课堂评价一定程度上会使他们在课堂上更加活跃,学习英语的兴趣更加浓厚。
三、设计理念
在设计本课时,教师充分考虑到了英语课程的两种性质,即“工具性”和“人文性”。
在“工具性”方面,教师从听、说、读三个方面处理教材内容。
在“人文性”方面,教师创设了各种各样学生感兴趣的游戏活动,丰富了教学内容,开阔学生视野的同时激发学生学习的兴趣。
四、教学目标
(一)语言知识
1. 全体学生能理解单词there, animal, can, see, help, table, we, ;运用:there is; 2. 全体学生会运用:There is a cat in the tree. (二)语言技能
1. 全体学生能够听懂、会说There is a cat in the tree.; 2. 能够运用
“There is…”描述身边的事物。
(三)情感态度
乐于运用英语谈论喜爱的事物,体验学习英语的乐趣。
(四)学习策略
积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务。
(五)文化意识
感知英语和汉语在表达人或食物存在时的差异。

八、教学过程
ⅠWarm-up and lead-in (5’) 1. Greetings.
T: Hello, boys and girls. I’m glad to see you here. Today I’ll teach you English. Do you like me? And I bring many sweets for you. If you sit up straight, hands up more, speak English loudly, you can get it. So children, are you ready? Ss: Yes! 2. Sing a song “I’m a cat.”
3. Lead in.
T: I like songs. You like songs. So we like songs. (Teach new word “we”)
T: I like magic, too. Look, there is nothing in the bag. Now what can you see? (Teach “ can, see”) T: Wow, there is an elephant. (教师手拿elephant的图片引导孩子们说There is,教: there发音,语音教学:this, that)(再变1-2组魔术,巩固there is) T: Let’s look at the other animals.(Teach “animal”)
What other animals can you see? Let’s look! (观看活动一录像)
T: What other animals can you see? S: There are two tigers in the tree. (Teach “there are”)
T: The tigers can’t go down. Let’s help the tigers. (Teach “help”) Group 1, tiger 1; Group 2, tiger 2.Who can help the tiger off the tree.(用两只老虎作为评价手段)
(设计意图:以说唱的形式展开本课的教学内容,在开课前牢牢抓住学生的注意力和兴趣。)
ⅡTask Presentation(1’)
Present the task:
1.Talk about places and animals by using “there is”用there is …谈论动物的位置; 2. Use “there is or there are” to solve the troubles.用there is解决困难。
(设计意图:呈现任务,明确学习目标。)
ⅢText Learning (14’) 1. Listen, look and think “What’s in the tree?”
T: Daming and Sam are in the park now. What are they looking? What’s in the tree? Let’s listen and look. T: What’s in the tree? S: There is a cat in the tree. T: Today let’s learn M7U1 There is a cat in the tree. (板书标题句,操练目标语句,一个读,老对读,全班读) 2. Listen, repeat and answer “How can they help the cat?”.
T: Look at the cat.(手拿小猫图片). It’s very cute.(教师做动作).Is it happy?(学生回答)Is it sad?(学生回答) Do you want to help the cat? Let’s help the cat. T: Daming and Sam want to help the cat, too. The tree is very tall. But they’re very short. Do you have good ideas? (让学生自己开动脑筋说,教师适当给予评价Your idea is good. You’re helpful. Good idea.)
T: Let’s look at Sam and Daming. They’re helping the cat now. They’ve got many ideas. What are they? Let’s listen and repeat.(听音跟读,点读笔)
T: The first idea:
S: There is a chair over there.
T: Look, there is a chair over there. Who can help the cat.
T: Can you help the cat? S: No. The chair is very small. T: The second idea:
S: There is a table over there. (两个小孩抬桌子)
T: Can they help the cat? Ss: No.
T: They’re very short.
Ss: We’re very short. T: The third idea:
Ss: There is a policeman over there.
3. Read and complete. (两人一组读课文,机械操练) T: What do you think Daming and Sam? Are they good? Are they clever?( 德育点渗透:做一个乐于帮助他人的小学生。) (设计意图:将整篇课文放在情境中分步完成,实物与多媒体并用,让学生更好的进行课文学习。)

Practice(10’) 1. Say a chant 2. Let’s act. T: Look, Daming is coming to our classroom. Who can be Sam/policeman/cat? (表演1-2组)
3. Brainstorming.(让学生拿出事先准备好的图片和卡片,在规定时间内,看哪组说的最多,教师一定要先示范)
(设计意图:由机械操练很然地过渡到意义操练,目标明确,有层次性,总是在趣味性的情境中让学生运用语言。) Ⅴ
Task Completion(5) 1. 小小救援队!
T: There are many things in the tree. Can you help them?Who can help me get the dog?(四人一组,表演) 2. Read a story.(通过像学生讲述彩虹色的花的故事,让学生成为像彩虹花一样的小学生。)
(设计意图:在说说做做中真实地运用所学语言,鼓励学生多说多运用,同时将本课的新知和旧知相结合,绘本的阅读提高了学生的阅读能力。)
