Module 6 Unit2 They got seventy points. 一、教材分析
本课选自外研版新标准《小学英语》五年级上册Module 6 Unit2 They got seventy points. 课文描述了一场篮球比赛。昨天,Amy, Sam和Lingling参加了一场篮球比赛。他们队得了70分,另一个队得了64分。其中Sam得了36分,Amy得了13分,Lingling得了21分。他们很高兴赢得了比赛。
本课的前一单元已经学习了用can来表达人的能力,本课是在此基础上加入了过去时以及数字,是一个综合能力的运用。
在十二册教材中,第六册教材中第一次完整地出现了数字的学习,将“十几”进行了系统的学习,“几十”在单词表中出现了forty和thirty,“几十几”在课文中出现了twenty-one等二十几的数字。六年级也再没有如此系统、全面地出现过。由此可见,本次数字的表达学习基本是小学阶段最后的巩固学习机会。
二、学情分析
五年级的学生已经有了一定的语言表达能力,能够根据图片的提示表达相应的语句。同时,他们对于运动项目有所了解,兴趣也比较浓厚。这些都为本课的学习奠定了基础。
三、教学目标
1. 语言知识目标
(1)功能:进一步巩固数字和一般过去时的运用。
(2)语法:全体学生能运用They got seventy points. (3)词汇:全体学生能理解sixty和seventy. (4)语音:模仿课文,进一步感知语句重音。
2. 语言技能目标
(1)全体学生能听懂:They got seventy points. (2)全体学生能说:They got seventy points. (3)全体学生能朗读课文。
3. 情感态度目标
在活动中篮球项目中的“三对三篮球”有所了解,并敢于表达。
四、教学重点和难点
1. 正确地听、说、读下列单词:sixty和seventy. 2. 正确运用本课所学句型They got seventy points.来描述篮球比赛。
3. 掌握数字的组成规律。

多媒体课件,单词卡片,活动材料。

﹝设计意图﹞询问课前布置的观看视频任务完成情况,课前数字视频的观看为本课突破数字学习这个难点做好了铺垫,达到“翻转课堂”的目的。

﹝设计意图﹞通过数字chant和一个游戏的热身让学生回忆旧知,游戏形式的复习能让学生的思维活跃起来,达到较好的开课效果。

II Presentation 1.
Free- talk 出示ppt图片T: Did you find how many players in every team? Ss: Three. T: 每队三名球员的比赛,你们知道叫什么吗?
出示课件3 vs 3 basketball match. T: Now let’s see the first match. This boy is the shortest. Can he play basketball well? S1: Yes, he can.
T: How many points did he get? S2: He got forty points. T: Can you spell “forty”? S2: I don’t know. / ”f-o-r-t-y”
T: Who can help us? / Wonderful. 出示课件。What about “fourteen”? S3: …出示课件进行对比。
T: There isn’t “u” in forty. And there’s “u” in fourteen. 2.
Task
T: Today our task is “review the numbers and report yesterday’s matches in your group.”
﹝设计意图﹞通过小短文引出今天的任务,以及forty这个特殊变化的单词,加深学生的记忆。

通过数字小规律的前置学习,学生有了比较深入的了解,课堂上通过小组合作的形式再一次得到表达性地输出,突破了课堂的难点。
III Practice 1. Listen and sing. T: Lingling is a girl. She can play basketball well. What about this girl? 播放歌曲。跟唱一遍。
2. Memory game
T: Let’s play a memory game. How many points did they get?
Ss: … got… points. T: This time, look and then say as more as you can in your group. 全班一起反馈。
3. Read the third match and fill in the blanks. Yesterday, Summer ,Kevin and Linlin took part in(参加) a 3 vs. 3 basketball match. Summer can jump high. She got fifteen points. Kevin can jump high, too and make three-point shots(三分球). He got thirty-nine points. And Linlin got eighteen points. They got seventy-two points together. The other team got one hundred and eleven points.
Their team lost. But they weren’t sad. They will practice a lot in the future.
﹝设计意图﹞通过阅读不同队伍的报道,让学生们感受到生活中不只有成功,还会有失败,失败之后我们要做的就是积极地面对,并继续努力的提高自己。
