2.Aim of ability: They can act out the dialogues in class.

4.Cultural sense: The pupils should understand and apply: “Excuse me” before asking help.

【Key points and difficult points 】

1.They should identify three words: left, right, straight ahead.

2.They can apply sentence pattern: A. Where…? B. Go left (right…) to make a dialogue.

Step1. Warm up

Sing a song“See you at Tony’s”

Step2. Presentation

1.review the places,like park,police station,police station ect.

Ask pupils to say the words and practice in groups.

2.Groups show

（小组展示，教师让组长制定本组的展示方式，并讲解展示形式，以具有本组特色的，不同于其他组的方式展示）

3.Say a chant(教师将方位词编排为朗朗上口的诗，再配以动作)

Opposite,opposite,opposite

Next to,next to,next to

Go left,go left,go left

Go right,go right,go right

Go straight ahead!

4.After the chant,the T’s hand point to the places,(PPT所示地点呈现一个大爱心将之包围)

So the teacher ask the pupils”I like these places,but which one is my favourite place?”

Ss:Is it post office?

Is it museum?

Is it tourist office?

Is it park?

T：Yes,my favourite place is park,because it’s beautiful,there are some trees and birds,there are lakes and flowers, etc.

(教师分别写出这些地名的首字母，以便观察有多少学生可以猜到，并且记住两组学生分别猜对了多少次，最后猜对的组计分)

5.T:I don’t know the way to the park.Let’s ask someone,Look,a policeman!

（教师以喜欢公园，但是不知道去公园的路,看见警察了，就去问路，引出新授内容）

T：Excuse me,where’s the park?

（PPT出现去公园的路是直走的，引导学生回答）

Ss:Go straight ahead

T:Thank you.

Ss:That’s OK.

6.Practice the dialogue in pairs and speak out

(对子之间相互练习，可替换，可变化形式,并展示，鼓励学生自己创新，两人，三人，在座位上，讲台上展示均可)

7.Let’s draw.

The teacher gives some orders such as turn left, turn right, turn back, go straight ahead, stop.

Read the phrases and draw the direction: turn left, turn right, go straight ahead.

8.Play a game:Excuse me,where is…?

(玩游戏：运用对话，找出自己的同学在哪里，从自己的位置出发，怎么走才能到达所指的那位同学那里)

9. Listen to the dialogues and tick the words and phrases. (Finish Part 3.)

10. Listen to the dialogues again. Try to repeat

(板书) Where is …?

That’s easy.

It’s the building over there.

11.Finish the practice on page 84

Step 3. Consolidation and outing

1.Ask for a volunteer to help you act out the dialogue for the rest of the class. How to ask and answer ways.

2. Ask the pupils to work in pairs to practice the dialogue.

3. Group showing.

Step 4. Homework

1. Present several maps, look and act out the dialogues.
