Unit4 Feelings
Teaching aims:
Words: sad happy angry scared tired feeling
Sentence: How are you feeling? I’m(happy).
How is he feeling? He’s(angry).
How is she feeling? She’s(tired).
Important and difficult teaching points:
1.The pupils can master the words:sad;happy;angry;tired;scared;
2.The pupils can master the sentences: I’m(happy). He is (scared). She is (angry).
Teaching aids: PPT; the cards of feeling words;feelings cards. Preparation:
1.Greetings.

Teaching process:
Step 1 Warming-up
T:Now,Let’s say the chant and do the actions,OK?
Clap clap clap your hands stamp stamp stamp your feet
bend bend bend your knees jump jump jump up high shake shake shake your arms touch touch touch your nose (课前热身,融洽课堂氛围,拉近师生距离,吸引学生注意力,使生很快进入课堂,同时激发学生学习英语的兴趣。)
Step2. Leading in:
T: Are you happy now?(同时教师手上拿着笑脸happy的卡片) S: Yes.
T: OK.Today we’ll learn the new lesson Unit4 Feelings.板书课题Step3.Presentation&Practice
1.learn the new words.
(1)First, I will intrduce you an old friend,please look at the screen, this is a litte tiger, his name is Toby.Now,he is hungry, Wow!There are so many food.So,he is very “happy”.hahaha (教师读升调,学生则读降调练习单词的读音.)
(2)But,A big tiger is hungry too.He looks at the meat and come here,the little tiger see the big one,he is so“scared”.(啊!) (3)Then,the big tiger eats the meat,t he Toby is “angry” and he is “sad”.
(4)At this time,Toby wants to look for his mother.And, he run and run,when he runs into his house,he is “tired” and he goes to sleep.(Open the train to read)
(教师在教学故事中呈现单词的同时,加以对应的表情表演,这样会抓住学生心理,学生在观察教师表演的同时会更好更快更容易理解单词)
2.Exercise the new words.(divide into two groups.)
a. Group A read the words loudly, and Group B read the words lowly.
b.One pupil makes a feeling; other pupils guess and say.
c.A guessing game.“what’s missing?”
(一个趣味性的、学生喜爱的游戏活动,使学生在快乐轻松的学习环境中获得并巩固知识。学生自主参与,积极性一定会很高) d.Listen and fill in the numbers. Finish part 1.
3.Learn new sentences
T:How are you feeling today?
S:I’m(happy).
4.Exercises sentences
a.Practice in pairs.
b.Act the dialogues in front of the blackboard.
Step4.Extension
Show the pictures.
1)Ask and answer: How is he feeling? He is (sad).
How is she feeling? She is (angry).
How are they feeling? They are(scared).
2)Work in groups.
One pupil takes a feeling cards; another pupil guess and say “He is …”.
3)Interview your partner s’ feelings.

Step5.Summary
T:Now,this class we have learnt feelings. So,Boys and girls, the life is happy. Please cherish your happy life.And be happy, happy and happy everyday.
