Free talk 不仅锻炼学生的口头表达能力，更是T: I like Saturdays too. I can help my parents do housework 为了引出本节课话题做铺垫

on Saturdays. （揭题）

What housework can I do? Guess! 学生猜一猜老师会做的家务活，教授clean the table，cook

breakfast，cook dinner，sweep the floor，wash the dishes .

将课文中的短语和句型提前学

Teach: cleaning What is he doing? He is cleaning the car. （齐读，个别,一问一答）

Task1 Watch the cartoon and answer the two questions: (1) How many people are there in Mike’s family ? There are six. (2) Who are they? Culture：外国人经常把宠物当作家庭成员的一份子。

Task2 Match and say 认真阅读课文，理清上午、下午Mike和Helen各为父母做了哪些事情，并将人物与所做的事情连线。

Task3 Think and fill in the blanks 六上午和下午分别做了什么事情。

教师利用板书，让学生上台面对大家说一说每个人物各自做了什么家务，如Mr Brown is cleaning the car in the morning. Step3 Practice
