Step1. Warm up

1. 课前播放动画歌曲（课堂采用小组竞赛的方式）

T: Do you like this song? There are some animals in that short cartoon, what animals can you see in it? Ss: We can see a cat, a bird, a rabbit, a fish and a dog. T: Do you know any other animals? Ss: ...

Step2. Pre-reading

T: These animals are all our friends. Today we will learn unit3 Our animal friends. Look at the picture, this is my animal friend. Let me introduce it to

you. My animal friends is a monkey,.... (用It has...句型介绍，向学生进行渗透，并导入今天的新词body, arm, leg, tail, feet，并再次教读新单词）

2.Quick response T: We have already learned some words of body parts. Now let’s play a game. Please listen to me carefully and touch your body parts quickly. For example, If I say“Touch your eyes”, you need to touch your eyes quickly.

(用游戏巩固新单词，全班做动作。每组再选学生进行比赛。)

T: You all did a good job. Great! Now, attention. Touch your wings. Do we have wings? Ss: We have no wings.

Step3. While-reading

1. Watch and match (小组竞赛) T: Animals are lovely. They are our good friends. The students are talking about their animal friends today. Look! Who are they? Ss:They’re Nancy/Mike/ Liu Tao/ Su Yang. T: What animal friends do they have? Now watch the cartoon and find out the answer. Ss: A dog/ rabbit/ two fish/ parrot.

T: That’s right. Can you use the sentence ...has... to express it?

(引导学生尝试用...has...的句型表达) S1: Nancy has two fish. S2: Mike has a dog. S3: LiuTao has a rabbit. S4: SuYang has a parrot.

2. Read and tick(小组竞赛) T: Here are some questions. Now read the first paragraph and find the answers of the three questions.

(1). 句型One is…

举例：One is big and the other is small. T:There are two doors in this classroom. One is open, the other is closed.

(2). 句型...no...or... They have big eyes and big bodies. They have no legs or arms, but they have big tails. 比较leg和arm，强调an arm。

3. Read and repeat

T: Now let’s read after the tape. Please pay attention to intonation and pronunciation.

(学生跟着录音读课文)

4. Happy reading(小组竞赛，起立读课文。)

T: Now let’s have a competition. Group 1 read the first paragraph, group 2 read the second paragraph...(分小组读课文)

T: Now boys read the first and third paragraph, girls read the second and forth paragraph. (分男女生读)

T: Please read the story by yourself again and finish the exercise in page 28. If you have any questions, you can talk with your classmate. Let’s read these sentences together.
