一、学情分析：

我所任教的学生是五年级的学生，经过5年的英语学***部分学生有了一定的英语学习基础和学习英语的兴趣，本班学生的特点是喜欢用口语表达，有良好的语言及英语思维能力，具有很强的自信心和表现能力，非常喜欢小组合作学习，对于本课学习已经适应了双课的教学模式。五年级的课堂应该是创设贴近真实的语言情境，让学生灵活运用所学知识进行日常交际，举一反三，达到活学活用的目的。

二、重点难点：

1.教学重点：能够听、说、读、写本课的语言知识。

2.教学难点：能够运用所学语言交际问答某人来自哪个国家及相关表达。

三、教学目标：

1.知识目标：能够听、说、读、写本课的语言知识。

2.能力目标：能够运用所学语言交际问答某人来自某国及相关回答。

3.情感态度：培养学生热爱祖国及尊重各国文化生活，团结友爱的积极情感和合作学习的精神。

4.学习策略：培养学生主动质疑，自主学习和合作学习的意识。

5.文化意识：认识和了解不同国家及其文化差异，从而增强爱国情感。

四、教学活动：

活动1【导入】

Greetings.

T：Good morning, class!

Warming-up

Now, let's go! Firstly, let's introduce to each other. (Sing a song about Where do you come from? ) T: Look, you come from different coutries. So we have four groups today. T: Hello, boys and girls. We have a new friend in our class. Look, he is coming. Pat, please come to the front.

Pat: Hi everyone, glad to meet you.

Ss: Glad to meet you, too.

Pat: I'm Pat. I'm from Paris.

T: Do you want to know about hin?

S1: How old are you?

S2: Which class are you in?

S3: Do you like...?

T: Ok. Let's watch a video and chant together.

(1)Let Ss underline the words with "p". Then let them read.

Our school will hold an international communication festival, you should introduce the special features of your own country.Let's go to see!

T: And how about Pat? Where is he from? Look...

S: Pat is from France.

T: Very good. Look, there are some pictures of the Eiffel Tower, Mona Lisa Smile and the Louvre.

Let Ss spell and read the word"France".

(4) Let Ss observe the France flag then change it into the Russia flag then learn a new word"Russia".

T: Look at the picture of the Red Square, the tetris and matryoshka dolls.

Where are they from?

S: Thaey are from Russia.

Let Ss spell and read the new word one by one.

(5) Show the Perry and the Germany flag.

T: Where is Perry from?

Play a guessing game: cover--berr cover--beer--The Munich Oktoberfest.

(6)Watch a video and learn zbout the special festival of Germany.

Then learn a new word: Germany.

(7)Show the Chinese map.

T: Where are you from?

S: I'm from China.

Then watch a short video about China.

T: Waht do you think of China?

S: She is great/ amazing. I love China.

(8)Let's listen and match.
