二、教学目标

1.知识目标

1）能够听、说、读、写有关家务的词组：water the flowers, clean the bedroom, sweep the floor, 和 cook the meals. 2）能听、说、认读词组:empty the trash 和句子: I’m helpful. I can sweep the floor. 2.能力目标

能够简单介绍自己会做的一些家务劳动，如 I can sweep the floor. I can clean the bedroom. 3.情感目标

培养学生热爱劳动、乐于助人的良好品质。

三、教学重难点

1）教学重点：能够听、说、读、写有关家务的词组：water the flowers, clean the bedroom, sweep the floor,和 cook the meals 及其灵活运用。. 2）教学难点：empty the trash 的读音；在所创设的情境中灵活运用本课时的词汇和句子。

CAI 课件 词组卡片 句子卡片 磁带和录音机 相关机器人头饰 五、Teaching Procedure Step 1 Warm-up 1. Let’s chant (Page 44) Ss chant it together with clapping their hands.

2. Free talk. 1) T: Now tell me, what can dog do? S1: Dog can run after you. Yes and what can panda do? S2: Panda can eat so much bamboo. What about mouse? S3: Mouse can hide in the shoe. And how about Mike? S4: He can draw pictures in the zoo. 2) T: Mike can draw pictures in the zoo. And what can you do? S1：I can…. S2：I can….

Teach : water the flowers 1）CAI shows some flowers T: Look, what are they? Ss: These are flowers. Year there are some flowers in her home. Can you spell “flowers?” Ss F-L-O-W-E-R-S, flowers Great. Now what happened to the flowers? (CAI shows a sun shining strong and the flowers S1: I can help, I can water the flowers. say “Oh no, I am thirsty, who can help me?) (Guided by teacher 做浇花状) Flowers: Thank you，you’re helpful.

2）teach the phrase: water the flowers T: Water, water, water the flowers I can water the flowers. Ss repeat after T Ss read in groups one by one Help, help, ful, ful, helpful. Helpful, helpful. I’m helpful.

I’m helpful. I can water the flowers.

3) T: I’m beautiful. I am a flower, but I am thirsty now.(做口渴状)Who can help me? S1: I’m helpful. I can water the flowers.

(边说边做浇花状) Thank you, you’re helpful. But I am still thirsty.

S2: I’m helpful. I can water the flowers. S3 /S4/S5/S6…. 4) CAI shows pictures: flowers, trees, cucumbers, tomatoes….on the screen and T lets Ss say in pairs as following: A --- I’m …. I’m thirsty.

1) T: When we water the flowers, what do we use? Do we use Coke? Ss: No, water. Yeah. So water is Ss: Helpful. T: Water is helpful. What can water do? (CAI shows Mr. Water) Mr. Water: Hello, I’m Mr. Water. I’m helpful. I can clean the….

CAI shows a wall, a lamp and some books on the desk to form a study. T: Wonderful! Now what Mr. Water can clean? SS: Clean the study. T: Yeah. CAI shows a house, in which there is a bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, living room and study. T: I’m helpful. I can clean the study. What can you do?

S1: I’m helpful. I can clean the kitchen.

S2: I’m helpful. I can clean the bathroom.

S3: I’m helpful. I can clean the ….

T points to a bedroom. T: What room is it? There is a bed in it. SS: Bedroom. T: I’m helpful. I can clean the….

T enables Ss to read after her. Ss repeat after T Ss read in groups one by one by doing the action. 3)

Let’s chant

CAI shows the following chant: Clean, clean, clean the bedroom. Clean, clean, clean the study. Clean, clean, clean the living room. Clean, clean, clean the kitchen. Clean, clean, clean the bathroom. 4. Teach “sweep the floor”

1) CAI shows a dirty living room, in which there are many trashes. T: What can you see in the living room? SS: Sofa/TV/ air-conditioner….

T: The living room is clean?? SS: No. T: There are many trashes in the living room，what can you do? SS: Sweep the floor. CAI shows a broom to sweep the floor. 2) T enables Ss to read after her. Ss repeat after T Ss read in groups one by one. by doing the action. 4)

CAI shows a living room. T: Go to the living room, sweep the floor. Sweep, sweep, sweep the floor.(做动作) Go to the …., sweep the floor. Who can try?

5. Teach “empty the trash”

1) T: You clean the room and sweep the floor, CAI shows some trashes on the screen. T: What are these ? SS: 垃圾/trash. T: These are trash. What do you deal with them? Can we put them in my bag?(T points to her own bag.) SS: No. T: Where can we put them? SS: 垃圾桶。/ Trash bin. CAI shows a full trash bin. T: The trash bin is full. What can we do? SS: 倒掉。/ Empty the trash. T: Yeah. Clever kids. 2) T enables Ss to read after her. Ss repeat after T Ss read in groups one by one. by doing the action. 3) T takes out a small and lovely trash bin. T: Look, I have a trash bin. Who has trash?? S1: Me. T: OK, put it in the trash bin. （师让生将他们的垃圾放到老师带来的垃圾桶里，其他学生大声说：trash, trash..）

When the trash bin is full. T makes one student come to front to empty the trash. Other Ss

say “empty, empty, empty the trash” loudly.

6. Teach”cook the meals”

1) CAI shows a kettle—A , a rag—B , a broom—C , a trash bin—D on the screen T: I’m helpful. I can water the flowers with A. What about you?

S1/S2/S3/S4/S5/S6: I’m helpful. I can … with A/B….
