Story time
教学目标: 1.
能听懂、会说、会读cinema, hospital, shop, zoo等地点类单词. 2.
能初步运用句型How do I get to …? 及回答:Go along … Get on/ off … Turn left/ right …
3.
能正确、流利地朗读并理解故事. 4. 能了解问路与指路的方法,培养学生方位表达的能力。
教学重难点: 1.
能听懂,会读,会说,会用How do I get to …? 及回答:Go along this street. Turn left/ right at the traffic lights. Get on/ off … at …Station. You can see the … on the left/ right. 2.
能正确、流利地朗读并理解故事。
3. 能了解问路与指路的方法,培养学生方位表达的能力。
教学准备:
课件、磁带、录音机。
教学过程:
Step1 Free talk Where do you live? How do you come to school? 设计意图:通过free talk环节,创设学习英语的氛围,激起学生的旧知,激发学生说的兴趣,自然进入课文的学习。
Step2 Pre-reading
1.
Say something about Su Hai: (简单介绍一下苏海的情况) Su Hai lives on Moon Street, near City Library. She has a new home, it's very big, but it's far from school, so Su Yang and she come to school by bus. 2.
Su Hai’s good friend-Yang Ling wants to visit Su Hai’s new home, but she doesn’t know the way. She is calling Su Hai. What are they talking about? Watch and answer. Q: What are they talking about? A. Su Hai’s new home
B. the buildings(建筑) in the city
C. asking and showing the way(问路和指路)
设计意图:
听录音,整体感知课文。让学生带着任务有目的、有重点地听,可以有效培养学生的听力和理解能力。
Step3 While-reading
1.
If you were Yang Ling, what do you want to know?(4人一组讨论) Where do you live? Is it far from my home? How do I get to your home? Which station/stop can I get on? Which station/stop can I get off? What's near your home? ... 学习新单词和词组:station/stop, get on/off, next to. 设计意图:通过开放式的问题,
导入本课主话题,激活学生的思维和知识储备。
2.
How does Yang Ling get to Su Hai's home?看图叙述。
She can take the metro. She can get on the metro at Park Station and get off at City Library Station. 设计意图:通过让学生自读,引导学生找出本课的重点句型,并根据所提取的句型进行文本叙述,促进学生语言运用能力的形成。

Yang Ling comes out from City Library Station. Where’s she now?
She is on Sun Street. Yes, but she cannot find the bookshop. What can she do? (1)
She can ask a policeman for help. (2)
She can ask the other people for help. (3)
She can call Su Hai. 设计意图:联系生活实际,提高学生解决问题的能力。

How do I get to the bookshop? (2)
Where is the bookshop? Before asking, we should say “Excuse me”.

自读课文,找到书店的准确位置。

Read after the tape. 仔细听录音,注意模仿语音语调。

First, I get on the metro at park Station. Next,... Then,I'm on Sun Street. I walk along...The bookshop is on my ... 设计意图:创设情境,让学生在一个真实的场景中综合使用本课重点句型进行说的练习,提高学生综合运用语言的能力。
Step5 Homework:
1. Read Story time.熟读Story time。
2. 用第一人称复述去苏海家的路线。
