The topic of animals is one of the students’ favorite topics. They are very familiar with these friends. In addition, students have learnt a similar topic “Animals I like” in Oxford English 2B and they know how to describe one/some animal(s) properly. In this unit, students will learn to express if they like/dislike any animals and tell the reasons. The four animals are optional choices for students to practice and then do a survey. In the rest of the lesson, they can have a role play of the story on P.16 with group members and then retell the story to friends if they like.
