Step 1 Warming up 1.

2. Preparation Show students a forest and ask students use “Look at the … They’re/ It’s …” according to the picture. Ask them to introduce like: They are trees. They are birds. …
Step 2 Presentation & Practice

1. Play the video and ask: Look, what’s in the forest? Teach ladybird. Students practice after teacher and group by group and one by one. 2. Play the video and ask: Look, they are the ladybird babies. But one of them is different. So what can they ask? S: What’s this? Teach “what this?”
Practice the sentence in different ways. Show the title
Guide the students to read the title “Unit5 what’s this?”
3. Show students the picture of dragonfly. Teach “a dragonfly”
Say a chant Fly, fly, dragonfly. Up, up, up so high. Students say the chant by boys group and girls group. 4. Show students the picture of cicada. T: Now what can the babies ask? S: What’s this?
Ask students answer the question. Teach “a cicada”
Students practice after teacher and group by group and one by one. Say a chant. What’s, what’s, what’s this?

1. Ask students use

Students practice after teacher and group by group and one by one. Say a chant Fly, fly, butterfly. Fly, fly, in the sky. (with body language) 4. Play a game “What’s missing?
Ask students say the missing word 5. Quick response Show the rules and guide the students review the sentences and persons in the game. 6. Story time T: You did a good job. Now let’s go to the Cartoon stage.
