教学内容：

« Merry Christmas » 的主要教学内容是以圣诞节为背景，学习与圣诞节相关的单词、词组、对话以及“圣诞祝福”的英语表达方式，同时了解圣诞节的风俗习惯等相关知识。教学目标：1.知识目标

(1)能听懂、能使用自然拼读法认读与“圣诞节”相关单词、词组: gift/present、card、Christmas tree、Father Christmas、coloured lights，发音准确、语调自然；

(2)能使用

‘Merry Christmas’

向别人表达祝福；

(3)了解有关圣诞节的风俗。

2.情感目标

(1)了解中西方文化、习俗差异，培养学生的文化意识，陶冶思想情操；

(2)通过情境创设等活动，提高学生的课堂参与度和学习英语的兴趣。

教学重难点：

(1)本课新单词及词组的发音和认读；

(2)在情境中使用节日问候语进行对话练习。教学过程：

Step 1. Warming up

1.Greeting.

2.以提问’What’s your favourite Festival ? ‘方式导入“圣诞节”主题。

Step 2.Presentation

1.介绍“圣诞节”相关的背景知识。

2. What shall we say on Christmas Day ?

（Merry Christmas.）

练习使用

‘Merry Christmas.’表达圣诞祝福。

3.使用自然拼读法学习单词、词组。

‘句型展开讨论，分组发言。

Step 3.Activity and practice

1.观察Let’s talk 对话图片，回答问题，初步感知对话内容。

2.听录音，根据对话内容，以组讨论，展开free talk，回答问题：

Q1.How does Santa Claus give us gifts?

Q2.Do you think it’s true ? Why ?

3.完成教材中的练习Listen to the dialogue and tick the correct answers.

4.再听录音，理解分析对话内容，进行讲评。

Step 4.Review and summarize.

1.回顾本堂课所学知识。

2.Ending :Enjoy the song « We wish you a Merry Christmas ».
