学情分析

授课班级为高二年级B层学生，学生英语水平中等偏下，进入高二，出现分化，个别学生跟不上老师。但大多数学生希望学好英语，有学习热情，通过调查，75%学生对待写作不喜欢甚至害怕英语写作，原因如下: 大多数写生认为不能用英语表达出自己的想法，词汇语法方面也很欠缺，他们都希望老师多讲一些有用的词汇、句型甚至是优秀范文，个别学生提出需要思路点拨。很少有学生关注到逻辑问题。课前老师分别找了8位同学预写作文“describe our school”，从学生的作品中发现除了一些语言问题外，还存在逻辑方面的问题，主要为：整篇文章基本上是信息的罗列，想到哪写到哪，没有中心思想，扩展句不能支持主题句，句子间没有衔接，衔接不合理等。所以本课的目标是能解决这几个问题从而帮助学生写出有逻辑性的段落，培养学生的逻辑思维能力。考虑到学生的学情，一节课让学生写出一篇完整的介绍学校的短文有困难，因此目标定在写一个逻辑的段落上。

教材分析

本单元写作技能的目标是：能够运用适当的连词写出段落清晰、层次分明的短文。Communication workshop 中的写作任务是描写学校。而本单元中Lesson 2 Different Schools 听力了中学习了一些对学校的描写,主要有描写学校的教育方式，传统教育和非传统学校的不同，还有描写课堂学习方式的不同，词汇有traditional,

strict school rules, be founded in… be proud of its reputation, give lectures, take notes，

review lessons, have a lot of homework, test，

get involved in learning, problem-solving activities等，而对于学校位置、设施、课程、课外活动等在communication workshop中reading部分出现，如果单元学习中学生认真听课、学习，对于介绍学校的话题语言应该不是难点。而对于文章的逻辑和连接词的应用在本单元第四课的阅读课技能，连接词种类学生应该没多大问题。

设计思路

基于学生的学情和教材分析，本节课定位为写作中的逻辑问题，

从学生预写作品引导学生发现逻辑问题，并在老师指导下修改，从主题句、扩展句到句间的衔接与连贯，步步引导，直到最终让学生关注这些逻辑问题并能写出一篇有逻辑的段落。
