Ⅱ. 教材简解

本课是译林小学《英语》（三年级起点）五年级下册第七单元Chinese festival第一课时的教学。本单元story time中，主要通过四个场景呈现了中国传统节日。场景一是Liu Tao一家过春节，场景二是Liu Tao, Su Hai, Su Yang, Mike四位小朋友一起吃粽子，看龙舟赛，一起过端午节；场景三是Yang ling一家过中秋节；最后一个场景重阳节的介绍。节日介绍主要围绕日期，活动以及食物三个方面展开。在教学过程中教师可以扩展一些中国传统节日，以及对节日活动进行扩充。

Ⅲ. 目标预设

1. 知识目标

（1）能听懂、会说、会读Jaunaury, February, May, June, September, October,November,Festival,get togethe, Spring Festival, Dragon Boart Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Double Ninth Festival等本课所涉及的单词。

能理解和初步运用句型：The Spring Festival is in January or Febuary. People eat rice dumpling at the festival. 2. 能力目标

（1）月份前用介词In. （2）掌握节日的活动及食品。

（3）学生能在理解的基础上合作复述故事。

（4）了解更多的中国传统节日，并且结合生活实际扩充节日活动内容。

3. 情感目标

（1）让学生很好的感受每个节日，

了解中国的传统习俗及美德。

（2）将生活和教学很好的结合起来，学会运用英语表达交流。

Ⅴ. 设计理念 从生活实际出发，带动学生学习兴趣，让学生自主的参与融入到课堂当中，教师在引导学生的过程中充分发挥学生课堂的主体性，在小组交流活动以及教师任务型教学方式过程中，使不同层次的学生能掌握本节课的教学内容。

Ⅵ. 设计思路 通过chant复习月份的单词，引出festival，

通过图片的展示，猜出节日Spring Festival, Dragon Boat Festival,Mid-Autumn Festival, Double Ninth Festival四个节日。通过设计问题---哪个节日你想知道来了解各个节日的时间，吃什么，活动等. Ⅶ. 教学过程

Fly around,if it's July If it's August,blow your nose In September,touch those toes If your day is in October,start your day by rolling over,In November bend your knees,Here's December you must freeze!

T: Do yu know festivals in China? T;Do you know this word? and how does it say? Then lead into the topic, U7 Chinese festivals

2.While-task Procedure

Put the Chinese Festivals on the white board: Spring Festival Dragon Boat Festival Mid-Autumn Festival Double Ninth Festival T: How many can you read? Let some students read these words. Teacher read and students follow . Free read in pairs. Task 1 T: Which festival do you want to know about? T: Watch the video and answer questions. QUESTIONS: When is this Festival? What do people eat? What do people do? Whatelse do people do at this festival? show some

pictures as followings and learn some new words. Spring festivals couplets, firework, red pocket.

After students give the answers , put them on the board. Guess the festival:

This festival is in May or June. It is a festival to commemorate the poet Qu Yuan. On that day people will hold a big race, dragon boat race. Do you know what festival is it? This is Dragon Boat Festival. People eat rice dumplings. They have dragon boat races. Show picture about Mid-Autumn Festival, and say something about this festival.

In September or October eat moon cakes and fruit lookat the moon at night with families Listen the poem and guess the festival: 九月九忆山东兄弟

Double Nineth Festival In October or November eat rice cakes visit their parents or grandparents /climb mountains
